Well if you think about it, it took 2 years between 2006-2008 for the killer games to start coming out on PS3. So if we just wait another two years all those games are out and everything’s fine at Xbox. No need to panic because they know the industry and what the gamer wants. Just wait two years to see. Just wait… Phil said they are coming so no need for anyone to tap their foot in frustrations. Just wait…

In all seriousness I hope it works out for Xbox as a console

Gameplay improvements would have done a sequel a lot, but the first wasn’t all it should have been. Firefight gameplay can be counted with one hand. There were 2 or 3 boss battles if I recall. It was too short for its own good. The weapons were great and the graphics beautiful. Was a lot of rich story to tell but couldn’t be crammed into a 5-7hr game with little replay value. Having 3 or 4 chapters in a row as cutscenes in the second half didn’t help justify a $60 sticker price either

WB is a publisher, not a developer. Are you confused between a publisher and a developer? Publishers print what the developer creates. A developer doesn’t publish the game, with the exception of occasional indy games where the developer self publishes due to not finding a publisher. One develops, the other prints and distributes

O_o. Digital Foundry is back to be credible again? I swear you were the one who said “wait until the Digital Foundry analysis” for two games in the same genre a year or so ago… You kept hyping the waiting game, and when it finally came out you didn’t want to comment on it. I was disappointed in you. You aren’t as active anymore too. I hope you are okay

@Darth, I’m not interested in Series X. One X is about $150 on marketplaces, and One S for much less. Series S for less but lacks a disc drive. The last generation has a disc drive and far less expensive to justify buying to play a couple games

Hi Janky, serious question. Does the Xbox one s/x up-resolution my previous 360 games, or just one console over another? I’ve been looking to upgrade since the 360 closed yesterday. Not sure which Xbox offers what. I’m not interested in the series s/x. Just looking to see which console S or X from last generation plays best for Conkors Bad Fur Day Live and Reloaded for N64 memories

Xbox also passed on Marvels opportunity years before the articles topic with GI and Mihoyo. Xbox needs to swing at the pitch if they don’t want to strike out, and it might be too late for them as they shift away from consoles and offer more services

Would do anything for a new Jak and Daxter. It’s great to see Sony still developing platformers, but I really wish it was more than Ratchet and Astro for the offerings.

It’s been a long wait as Jak and Daxter fan. I have a collectible Precursor Orb of 3500, so I have another 3499 to collect haha

I loved Enemy Front. I pre ordered it months prior and remember calling the store to check if it came out that day. The guy never heard of it but confirmed my copy was ready to pick up. Game was simple and basic in a good way. Didn’t have any tacked on extras. A simple mission and objectives in each level. Kind of reminded me of the first Crysis in a way

Not surprising. Even the Xbox die hards here don’t recommend purchasing one. They used to be salesman trying to convince the crowd to switch over, but have since shifted to defense and hunker down protecting what’s left 🤣

This has been highly talked about in the media. Where have you been for the past year and a half? Spend a minute looking this up for yourself instead of asking others to do it for you. You look really silly being defensive, asking for links, given links, and asking for links again in another article… You can look this up for yourself if you ‘missed’ it. You are gifted if that effort is done for you, which it has a few times over by other users

It is that simple. It’s been 15 years of gamers leaving Xbox because they don't like what they are doing with the console and its offerings. You might not like that there’s a new tier for Day 1 and a price hike to get what you already got, but if Gamepass and Xbox still works for you that’s a win for you. Understand it hasn’t for everyone at a point Xbox really needs to keep those users for their next console. The Gamepass price hike and multiplatform approach isn’t encouraging to most g...

Since 2007 for me. Received a few $10 codes years back.

I’ve been receiving emails from PlayStation since 2007. If you didn’t click the check box ✅ to receive emails and promotions when you signed up 15 yrs ago, that’s probably why. Or check your email, or very unlucky…

That’s why many complain about unfinished releases, and not pay full price for it

I’m thinking the journalist is young due to the ‘all of a sudden’ realization. Gaming changed a lot in the past 10-20 years, one step at a time. A 5-15yr old isn’t going to notice what’s changed in the decade or two. The 5-15 year old downloads a game and all is good. Now he/she is 15-25yrs old and finding out it’s now not so good… which that conversation had been sailing for decades, but a ‘new’ thought requires an article as if nobody’s talked about it before… in that case the author must h...

I’m a little confused. The game has been on PS4 since 2016 or 2017. Is this an remaster of it?

I agree what Christopher is trying to say. This is great for gamepass and getting gamers subscribed into the community. Unfortunately console sales are very low for that platform. The best way to get games to gamers is by options like this, where games can be anywhere with gamepass. I don’t think it helps Xbox as a console if users can get gamepass with hardware already owned. Stores have stopped selling Xbox physical games. Console sales are abysmally low, game sales in decline. I truly do w...

‘Best lineup in Xbox history’ advertised during holiday season -cancels Scalebound and Fable after holiday season.

Not a lie. They had a good lineup. They just flipped the scripped after holiday season sales. What they advertised isn’t what the customer receives. Bait and switch
