Guess this is why Vita hasn’t received PS5 remote play, as this is what PS is selling now with a larger screen and dualsense palm handles.
I’m sure people will buy it, but is it really that hard to have remote play enabled between PSV/PS5 for the consumer?
Not that I remote play on my vita, but ffs not having it at PS5 launch, then trying to sell this looks a bit greedy without current PSV/5 remote play compatibility
Disc production was interrupted in Brasil?
@Ghost, I did and it wasn’t ‘kinda funny’ either.
That has little to do with the writers opinion or hype for the game because “it’s only on PlayStation”
My point was fans aren’t excited because of console exclusivity
Absolutely. The hype has nothing to with it being a new iteration of a 3 decade old franchise. /s
This authors opinion is it could be the best FF in the past decade. I don’t think they hype has anything to do with the launch platform exclusive, or for console war ‘wins’
Didn’t that come with catch that the games available on those stream services would be using that storefront rent free? Something about Microsoft being the sole receiver of micro transactions for those 10 year deals? Something about too much control in that growing cloud space?
I’m paraphrasing of course, but it wouldn’t be hard to search
I like to think it’s mostly teenagers behaving like that. The older you are, the more you’ve seen, the more you’ve been through, the more experience you have for better judgements
Not extra love. Other platforms received the same content
Sony backed out of the project and the company lost its financial support = layoff 90% of the workforce.
The studio has less than 10 people left, no known projects, and not developing. The live service game is dead, the studio is too.
Odd for a bunch of old BF/COD/Titanfall devs, but not good enough to continue supporting
One less live service game, for better or worse
And with this offer you don’t need to meet that $30-35 requirement as a bonus
I would love to see them develop another mainline LBP again. They haven’t since LBP2. Comparative games of that style/budget from PS the past decade have been contracted to other developers
I don’t think PS is looking to fund those type of games through a first party studio anymore, and that’s really upsetting to me
I’m pretty sure Media Molecule is closing too, which hurts. Their encyclopedia page was updated recently. Was just a quick browse so I didn’t look up source material
It bugged me when they closed/sold Evolution Studios as I would have enjoyed a new Motorstorm. Japan Studio closure was an arm twist, but PixelOpus really pisses me. I loved Concrete genie.
Thanks Jim.
One said he only had a PS5 and not a Series X yet, so his absence could be attributed to finally buying the new xbox…
Wow I’m actually upset by this no joke. I loved Concrete Genie. I pre ordered it and it was my personal goty. It was beautiful in 4k and the sixaxis controls made it really unique for a typical first party game. This is sad af
After MLB The Show being on Xbox Gamepass, Death Stranding being on PC Gamepass. It’s safe to think Sony has caved to the success of Gamepass because they cannot compete here. Just wait until Sony is FORCED to put Xbox Gamepass on PlayStation /s.
You list a lot of games that have scored well. These games can be accessed everywhere, and that’s the point. Xbox has a problem with appearing obsolete as a gaming console.
I don’t think Sony will be the one asking for Xbo...
E3 is dead
If you’re a gamer you’d be interested in these showcases.
You’re not supporting Xbox by watching. I haven’t supported Xbox since the 360. But as a gamer I will be watching. Gamers will always “tune in” under E3s absence
I’m sure Starfield will be fun
It was ported by a 3rd party, and considering its pc release was delayed a month suggests the contractor wasn’t as qualified for the job as PS thought.
Why the port wasn’t handled by their first party studio that ports games to pc is beyond me
It would be awesome to have mgs4 on the current generation. I wonder if the scene with psycho mantis would remain original or be edited for the new platforms it’s running on
