I haven’t played 2042 and I’m hesitant to. I played the hell out of BF1, BFV, and Battlefront 1+2. Battlefront 2 became a really good game after launch, and I was expecting that same content support DICE did for Battlefront 2 as BFV. Instead they quit support for BFV to develop 2042. I wanted more from BFV. I hope 2042 is/becomes good, but maybe continuing content in BFV would have been better over developing 2042. If 2042 launched today with all the updates there probably wouldn’t be as many...
Blood Dragon vibes
There’s been a couple titles that released the past few years at $40 from big publishers. There’s nothing wrong with 6-12 hr games at $50 if it’s a quality game. If it’s a good 6-12hr game what’s wrong with waiting for a sale if it’s too much?
They waited until after Christmas to cancel the games advertised in their “Best lineup in Xbox history” holiday sales campaign
Bait. Should be hidden eventually
Aloy, it’s a safe bet it wasn’t free. It’s not a gesture, it’s rented efforts.
The “new” gen is the 9th generation of consoles young Padawan, and it’s year 3 now.
Not really sure of your concern. ND has (had now?) a mo/cap studio that was often used by other third party developers. Iirc Remedy used it for Controls development. I don’t think this is worthy of news. PlayStation did expand their studios for aided development, which is old news. It’s not a big deal if other studios use another for motion capture, a 3rd part engine, etc.
Resistance and Killzone all sold millions of copies with each installment. But they couldn’t compete with the tens of millions of PlayStation players that bought call of duty because it said call of duty on the box. Both Resistance 3 (2011) and KZ3 (2011) sold less than their predecessors. KZSF (2013) also didn’t have the spirit of the first 3 games either but retained the attention to detail the series had.
Fascist is the word, and the Helghast invaded Vekta in the first game but it is an earth like planet
Levii, does it bother you that the remake came out 9.25 years after the original? Would your balls not be squeezed as hard if it was delayed 9 months?
Beat me to it. When I read the headline I was like “huh?”
They spent $70 billion dollars on publishers and their studios. I don’t see why they wouldn’t want to raise prices. And if one doesn’t want to pay $70-$80 dollars on games, they bait you into gamepass for $20/month.
Iirc Resistance 3 sold 800k launch week, which was under expectations. Though Insomniac did say it was “plenty” in question to not meeting sales expectations, about 3 weeks later they announced they weren’t making any more Resistance games. Ten years ago
It won’t. It’s the last game of Norse mythology. The developer confirmed this a year or so ago
You do know sixaxis controls are in the DualShock 4 and Dualsense as well? That’s not disastrous. It’s 3 generations now
Great! I have over 200hrs in Goat Simulator 2!
If you know, you know.
Genuine question, which currently released games are AAA 3rd Party PS5 exclusives again? I can think of 1st and 2nd party exclusives, but those 2nd party studios are now 1st party. I could be wrong but is there a single AAA 3rd party exclusive or console exclusive out now?
So buy one online if you want one. If you won’t because you are hardline on a cash purchase in store for a PS5 that’s on you dude, not everywhere but Mexico and Chechnya. When demand dies down you’ll find them in stores
He might just miss IPs like Jak and Daxter, Whipeout, Resistance, Killzone, Socom, Syphon Filter, the list goes on and on
Aloy that’s delusional fanboy speak. Microsoft wasn’t a cancer to the gaming industry upon entry. They’ve had good and bad times but are still here as one of the final 3 console manufacturers
