MadLad, that’s how being fired is. The person gets told they’re being “let go” or “ending employment”, and a company email gets sent out immediately once the person has left, saying the bigwig “left the company and we thank him/her for their duties at the company for x years” thing.
It’s not always the president of the company pointing fingers and yelling behind a closed door screaming “you’re fired!” for the whole office to hear. People with good intent get ‘let go’ becaus...
They are a publisher not a developer. But to answer your question, yes
Probably the same as it was when it was on PSNow
“Now, imagine the even more amazing AAA output from Sony if they had a big momma like that to cover their behind.”
Sony is the equivalent to PlayStation as Microsoft is for Xbox. Sony and Microsoft are the parent companies of PS and XB. Microsoft doesn’t have a big momma, nor does Sony. Those companies are the mommas to their game divisions.
Good morning drama queen
It’s my favorite franchise, and the reason I moved from Nintendo to PlayStation 20yrs ago. I would love to see a successor with the same crude humor, alcohol drinking, tobacco smoking, and sexual humor.
To replicate that atmosphere could upset a crowd today since platformers largely target children now.
Is there another platformer today that’s dark, gritty, and characters committing suicide (Krew)?
For platformers now it’s SpongeBob, Astrobot, and Ratchet…
I’m not quite sure there would be a studio left from getting rid of the ‘bad apples’ that tarnish the Halo series. The developers had plenty of time and resources for the game to reflect that at launch. Time and money wasn’t the problem. The skills of the employees is. Halo should go to another developer, and I think it’s best if 343 used their creativity to design something new instead of building from an already existing formula they inherited
I always thought it would be interesting to see an AC game in 1940s Europe. It would be a lot like The Saboteur, which is one of my favorite games.
Too young to have played AC1 when it came out, not born yet? I’m surprised you’d be very interested, since you know… it’s a remake.
Mines been jumping around
It’s referred to as ‘engagement’, and it keeps going up
Because he saved Xbox when Microsoft considered leaving gaming as a console manufacturer after the launch of the Xbox One? Or because he is worshiped like a god to the Xbox community for turning things around?
I mean the worshipping thing by the fans is a little cringy to me, but it’s not like didn’t save xbox and leave the fans on the edge of their seats for good xbox news.
If you’re buying AAA games for $70 six months after launch you’d be jumping through hoops TO pay full price. You can find those games in a sale for 30-40% off by that time. One week the PS Store, the next week Walmart, the week after Amazon, etc.
ND had 300 employees when part 2 game out. They have 600 now. It was a ‘get your feet wet’ project. ND even said they didn’t have anything for these employees to do.
Were they supposed to lay them off because their feet weren’t wet?
For first time players, especially PC gamers at $70 for launch days absolutely. For me, no. I’ll wait for Black Friday at the earliest. I still have a couple collectibles left to collect in part 2 and I could use part 1 as a ‘re-training session’ for the perma-death modes in part 2
Brewin, the Uncharted collection with 3 games NEVER came with a $10 upgrade fee. You’re thinking of the Legacy of Thieves collection, which was 2 games
Red x indicates a hit, or else the reticule remains white so you know you missed. There’s a lot of weapon recoil and recovery time in the series so the red x I always paid attention to. Pretty common in games to indicate a hit
Maybe off topic, maybe not. But I remember when uncharted 2 came out it had a setting to switch the inputs of the left and right sticks based on a request by a gamer so he could play uncharted 1 easier. Uncharted 1 was never patched for that, but uncharted 2 launched with that settings feature at one gamers request. I’m glad to see games have more accessibility options for those who couldn’t experience gaming as easily as most gamers
Review scores are an opinion given by the reviewer based off their experience with the game. It’s not a new concept.
PixelOpus and Media Molecules last games released 3 years ago so it wouldn’t surprise me to see their next projects in a few months.
