When they released their first console, when they had no first party studios, when they were originally starting out with a new cd drive for Nintendo that later became a concept for PlayStation, when xbox didn’t exist, Sony purchased Psygnosis. The IPs you’ll find on PlayStation from Psygnosis the past decade are Wipout and Lemmings.
Therefore SoNy DiD iT tOo and because of PlayStations success MS ‘deserves’ the Act/Blizz purchase after Zenimax fair and square, as Sony mad...
I never noticed the design in their original logo, but I agree with you. I wouldn’t doubt their old logo resulted in some phone calls confusing them as a connection to Remington, etc. over the years.
The old emblem didn’t ‘need’ to have that, and it’s probably best for the studio to not be caught in any confusion.
How so? I’d argue a 7yr wait for a sequel and skipping an entire generation wouldn’t have been the greatest for TLoU. If it was ‘delayed’ a year and a half for PS5 launch, you wouldn’t be able to find the console to play the game to begin with. And imagine the leaks prior to lathe games launch if it was PS5 only.
If you want to experience the PS5 updates for the game, just play it on a PS5
Maybe you’ll get your wish. Most highly anticipated titles have articles of a game going gold 2-3 weeks before launch and I haven’t seen any mention of Redfall going gold yet
@Peter you are right, far cry 5 and 6 run at 30fps on last generation consoles in 4k. That is not what far cry 5/6 run on current consoles. Redfall is not releasing for xb1 like far cry did years ago. If it was there would be reason for a 30fps rate and far less questions and concerns.
If it’s “quite easy” for a 3rd party to make those games run at 60fps/4k on the current generation being a cross-gen multiplatform game, but a first party studio can’t for a single console, I...
The far cry games are 4k 60fps
I’m not sure what Tchia is, but if you’re asking yourself “I just want to know of the game will be good with minimal bugs at launch and nothing game breaking” I’ll admit this
There isn’t a lot of good word going around the comments section, deserved or not. But I hope you can understand many people posting those comments expect the highest quality from their first party games, and don’t have the same concerns when their anticipated titles release. You’re asking that questi...
I wouldn’t say so. Gt games go on to continue selling even years after launch
I think a lot of people forget about studios like Media Molecule (and PixelOpus), but Ive been a fan of the mainline LBP games and Mm since the E3 moment on the skateboard for LBP1
Edit: Tearaway Unfolded was also a PS4 reimagining of the Vita game Tearaway. I played the original and I’m glad that’s the way I experienced it. Unfolded came out after and expanded the original Vita game, but sacrificed the touch controls that made the vita original special.
They’ve released 2 games since LBP2. Tearaway and Dreams
2 games. Tearaway and Dreams
Bad Company had the destructible environments that altered gameplay and made it fun. Battlefield 3 and 4 went more cod and maintained some destructibility, but it wasn’t the same.
Making a hole in a building wall for a quick exit/entry was a much easier thing to do in bad company, somehow… Can’t really explain it
Well, that 87 helped being publisher of the year 🤫
That’s how PlayStation started actually
Tony Hawks Pro Skater
What do you see being those of the first?
I still have my og copy from when I was a kid 😂
I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic or serious
Not sure they’ll head down that road just yet, but lots of studios + Gamepass, Gamepass and Gamepass, the box becomes a bit obsolete aside from a disc player. There will be another physical ‘Xbox’ next gen
