Wasn't much of a preview.
If this was true, then what will happen? Somebody will need to pay to rectify such a scenario. We will be watching this with interest.
I really hope that this is nonsense. Sony have delivered a good console, and we don't want to be robbed of its future.
Well, you cannot blame me. I bought my PS3 in the U.K at 12:06am launch night. If more people had purchased the 60gig model with its heft, and all of the bells and whistles, then we might have been getting a different PS4.
But that's neither here, nor there. PS4 is powerful, and at a decent price.
I will always welcome a new MGS game, but I can understand where you are coming from. Looking back at the series it is incredible the experiences Kojima Productions delivered with modest hardware. I look forwards to what ever they bring after MGS 5. A pure next gen title will be most welcome, cut free from the tethers of PS3 and 360.
I have a feeling that XB1 will sell very well. If they look after the gamers for the life of the console then sales will continue.
Yes, I do hope Sony sell more consoles so that they can fill their empty coffers, but they are delivering the best value and most powerful machine.
That doesn't mean XB is Cr*p or anything, its not. Its just the spin and bullshit that is off putting.
We all want to see XB4 and PS5.
Looking at things with perspective, they deserve it. Why? They are delivering a very good machine at a very good price, addressed the issues that hurt PS3, and look at the games on, or coming to PS3. They really do deserve a chance to succeed with their new console.
David Hayter had started to sound like a parody of Snake, rather than Snake. A change is good. Of course I would have been very happy to have been reunited with my old friend and his gravely tones. But I am over it. Looking forwards to MGS V.
Legacy issues between these 2 Asian Powers are irrelevant in terms of business and commerce. China is not a short term strategist, they play the long game in ways that we in the West are still slow to appreciate.
China can easily do business with those whom it despises, because its priorities are growing the economy, growing its middle class, and placating its citizens who live away from its booming coastal cities - deep within its interior. Only by creating jobs can the Communist Par...
I don't believe this, but if it is true then I would not like to be in this interns shoes. The Chinese State will not tolerate anybody jeopardising its manufacturing base.
I only had a PS2. I remember feeling that I was missing out on some great games such as Ninja Gaiden (PS2 Tenchu failed to do justice to the franchise), StarWars KOTOR, and others. But I enjoyed many titles on my machine such as Onimusha 2 and 3.
The Xbox had it right with a hard drive. Dissapointed the west never got its PS2 hard drive.
I have a working PS1, PS2, PS3, and PSP. On my second PS3, so that is a 20% failure rate over many years. Fair enough I think. If my current PS3 dies, or my eventual PS4 then I will feel hard done by because I look after my electronics.
I hope both consoles are reliable. The number of problems probably include human error. You know, people forcing HDMI's in upside down, letting their consoles fall over, ect.
Knock. Knock...... 'what are you doing in there'?
'Ah...... um...... just sharing my........ source code, yeah that's it..... I'm programming'.
Xb1 does have a great launch line up, and you can prefere them. But that cannot be used as reason against PS4 if you are saying there are no games. Everybody knows what is coming. Hopefully all gamers get what they want long term.
I can only afford one console each generation, and I like the games we always get on PlayStation.
Microsoft can do the same argument, in that they have great launch titles, innovative controls ect, and its a good machine. I think t...
Imagine us all in 5 years cursing our PS4's and XB1's for taking too long, because we will be used to the speed by then and will be getting impatient again.
Ha ha, very good. Maybe PS4 needs another 256 for the thermostat.
Xbones operating systems and hyper visor, along with kinect will be a resource drain. But has Microsoft not adopted a similar way of working with the addition of Move Engines, dedicated audio hardware, and other discreet hardware? I hope that they have.
Good job Sony.
Probably a fair comparison, although a bit generous to the 'Cloud'. The small gains from the as yet unproven cloud would be better got from optimising your code directly on the console.
You don't jump from Uncharted 1 to Uncharted 3 with cloud power. The relative power of next gen consoles and distant servers don't add up to more processing power in my mind. 30 years from now, yes. Not now.
That is still very impressive compared to previous consoles. The fact that it is charging peripherals, and checking for updates for the system or games while consuming very little electricity is great. Slight dissapointment that it needs to open the taps to perform the detected downloads, but all things in life are a compromise.
No, but us PS3 owners have definitely been mentioning the visuals of our exclusives. Many things affect a games visuals. If XB1 exclusives are 720p, and so are PS4's, then it stands to reason that the PS4 games could look much better with a more powerful machine which is easier to develops for. Add 1080p to the polish of PlayStation titles and it will be good.
