Apparently the less capable, and optional, PS eye works better than Knaff - sorry Kinnect, and PlayStation 4's voice commands work much better.
Just sayin'.

It is a launch title, and it looks mighty fine. I believe GT on PS4 will be better, but compared to what we have been used to on consoles it looks great.
They would have showcased the game based on what they could have delivered with more time, indeed, with time they will add all of the stuff we have slated them for leaving out. I don't believe that they set out to decieve. I am a rabid Sony fanboy, but this Isn't our infamous first look at Motorstorm (that was still the great...

Either this is the same as for PS4, in just small numbers highlighted by the Web, and looking at the size of XB1 and other things it seems MS have really tried to make it a reliable console.

Or!! Sony forced Microsoft's hand with their release schedule, and this is the result. How off balance were MS, if at all? (We already know that Sony is using a more developed disc drive, maybe relevant, maybe not?)

I hope that scenario 'A' is correct.

It is good to that all of journalism is 'seeing' what these consoles are about. Yes, there might be an element of follow the leader in appraisal or critizism of each console, the negativity about the XB1 might be the same as the mostly unfounded negativity that was about the PS3 at the start, but I think that they have it right with these consoles. The PS4 is undoubtably better. Simple, really.

We all knew that the WiiU would be quite reliable, then again it hardly pushes hard near the limits of performance/heat ect.

Ahh? They made the best, and most capable console ever made. Cheap, sleek, and the best developers are making exclusive games for it.
Why are you puzzled?

The stakes are high. Why wouldn't Sony highlight the strengths of PS4? Microsoft have been telling lies, such as 'No way are we giving up a 40% power advantage to the competition'. Ha ha.

Nothing wrong with its size if it is reliable, and reasonably quiet.

PS4 is a miracle of design by comparison and gets my vote, but if XB1 was my choice then I would be very happy with its reassuring mass. (reassuring if it works in keeping it running).

'Where are the games'? Still coming out on PS3. You might think that that proves your point, but it really doesn't. Think about it.

Of course the XB1 has a decent enough line up, but the fact that multi plats are sub HD, console is expensive, added to what Sony's studios are working on makes my choice incredibly easy. (PS4)

Idiots. Claiming easily replaceable parts - that aren't. If they had even done it themselves and proven the concept of replacing them, then tech heads could think 'maybe'. Why put up that article?

How? All of the PR blunders reflected the design blunders of their box.

Guess what. I spend a few hundred on a great console, and I am set for nearly a decade (PS4). I like women, sport and other things that require money, like life. I don't need to spend thousands just to up the resolution on a PC version of a console game.
Wow, look! I am playing 6 different WOW games at once on my amazing rig, while I4 internet pages are open...... yeah...... that's great, why don't you step outside and make some Vitamin D?

Ohh, La la, Monsieur Playstation.

If I want to watch anything disc based or stored on HDD on my PS3 then I can just use my T.V remote. No Dual shock controller needs to embarrass my living room with its presence. Grand Ma could do the same.

Do the next gen consoles not allow this?

(You know? Through the HDMI, on Samsung Television sets its called AnyNet, ect.
I think GrandMa would rather use a remote, than get institutionalised because she was 'talking to herself'?).

Phhweerrrrrt! Yes, I'm trolling.

The answer is really quite simple. Sony have rightly concentrated on delivering the worlds greatest console. Anybody who has gamed on a Playstation knows that great games will arrive, and arrive soon, we really havn't had a sniff of what the big Teams are producing. Yes, when looking at the great titles 'still' coming to PS3 then it is frustrating not to see what PS4 can actually deliver. But it is really fucking stupid, conversely, to say there are no games.....when ....... there...

The optical drive fuses, and the thermistors are all very interesting, but really you did not 'dive deep' with regards to the clock speeds of the APU components.

(Arghhh, n4rc beat me to it).

Compare this little gem to the proposed version of XB1-without game playing?? WTF?

4460d ago 4 agree0 disagreeView comment

Yes, that is right. Now, we can scoff at both consoles compared to high end P.Cs, or realize that PS4 is a consequence of PS3 not being accepted by the media or enough gamers when it launched. With all of that considered PS4 is still cheaper, and able to do multi-plats at 1080p vs XB1's sub HD graphics at launch? And we know that Sony's exclusives will be next-gen. PS4 has a lot in reserve compared to the XB1.

Maybe we should cost the PS4 manufacture in 'Yen', rather than Dollars to work out the true profits per unit - or lack of.
I am sure that Sony know what they are doing now, after what they have been through? And they are good at revising their hardware to increase profitability.
