Well I am currently fighting in the console wars, albeit a rear guard action with PS3. GT6 being purchased tomorrow.
What did Sony do with the fabrication plant bought from Toshiba?
Gran Turismo 6 gets my vote. TLOU was very good, GTA5 was good.
It is still a fantastic start, all things considered. PS4 is better, cheaper, and according to developers it is easier to develop for which, as we see all ready, means better multi plats, as well as exclusives that will come.
Now, I think it is rediculous to by an XB1 when PlayStation is available but consumers have the choice. XB1 has been Microsofts best console launch..... apparently. They can build on it. I do not think they will, by rewarding customers with the content other gam...
How is that different from what I said, in regards to driving?? And micro transactions don't limit anybody to buying anything.
So what if people feel the need to buy their way through the game? It will not make them drive any better, so that when online they will be nowhere near any rooms with normal tyres and zero driving aids. Why would they be when they cannot compete. I use a Dual shock and am pretty rubbish, but often hold my own, or at least put up a fight online with the correct company, and I enjoy that.
I wish I was better, but I don't need driving aids, and Shuffle Race to even the competition....
The 'War on Terror' might have been given more international support if soldiers where half naked......... like Quiet - not the British Paras or US Marines!
It looks to be very good technically, I couldn't comment on the story, or direction. Perhaps as a spin off they should have had the game without a story arc to fail on. Maybe just a visual treat involving the deposed Helgast trying to settle a new planet full of massive space creatures needing to be destroyed?
My Sixaxis controller that came with my launch PS3 failed years ago. At the time I took the controller to the shop from where my console came, and got them to replace it.
I am Sony fan, but I like M.S's attitude towards you in replacing your controller with absolutely zero fuss.
I agree with your list.
I also enjoyed Chase The Express, sometimes known as Covert Ops:Nuclear Dawn. I think I am in a minority with that choice?
Fanboyism aside, if it was me I would seriously consider getting a full refund and then getting the 'other' console. Or wait a couple of months to see how the dust settles with these new machines before committing.
2 duds is not very reassuring.
It would be worth getting the prologue if it contained some sort of MGO server access. The online portion could then be extended with the second part of the game?
Here's hoping.
I hope the tracks look that wet on consoles. Nice.
Ahh......So GT5's frame rate issue is actually a simulation of real life?
Wow Polyphony, my respect just goes up and up. Placing my pre-order for GT6 back on.
Well, to be fair the PS3 & 360 generation was not as fulfilling as the PS2 era. The only reason I got a PS3 at launch was because of PS2's library. No wealth of titles at launch of coarse, but the excitement of what would come was built by PS2. And although, in my opinion, I bought the best machine with the best games this past gen just underwhelmed slightly.
The welcome growth of online vs the decline of unique experiences. We still got them, just not enough.
Since PS...
I am a big fan of Kojima and MGS, but this already has a slight wiff about it.
If they are trying to cover the costs of Fox Engine then the just need to make some full games to sell, not this approach which they are taking.
What is the point of selling a 'tutorial' many months, or perhaps some years, apart from the main game? I doubt we would struggle to play your next game Hideo sans.
(Of coarse I will buy them, but my Soliton Radar will be scanning ...
I would rather that they squeezed every gigabit for physics in handling, rather than Destruction Derby. It is only running on a PS3 after all, good as that is I think next gen will allow further development of simulated damage.
They didn't reveal anything usefull, such as frame rate?.
If you are going to download rather than buy disc based media then that is up to you.
A bit like playing football while wearing your good Brogues, then complaining come the weekend cause they are scuffed.
I.e. buy a bigger hard drive, buy trainers or football boots.
Come on.... really? We have seen how it smooths out optimisation. *cough' 720p, cough*.
