If they come out on disc.
I guess most European gamers are probably fine with only English? If it means less delay and more financial focus on actual game development. Looking at you Shenmue 3.
and most people who play games these days. I'm not against having a local mode but no online mode is almost like having no multiplayer for most would be customers of this game. Which is a damn shame.
Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Although I hope this works online "ForeverAlone"
How about releasing Taiko Drum Master in Europe? None of the previous entries have ever been released.
Garbage
Would we be looking at free DLC if the game had sold the numbers EA expected? if the game starts becoming a bigger seller come Titanfall 3 does the free DLC stop? it all looks very suspect.
It is cheaper physically and probably worth more in the long run.
Try Red Dead Redemption multiplayer on backwards compatibility if you want a showcase.
None of the updates have given me a reason to go back and play it. I need something more than Minecraft in space.
Remember the opposite of what Pachter predicts usually comes true. Everyone knows that Microsoft's current CEO doesn't care for Xbox and his current strategy continues to hurt Xbox as a result. So it is possible they could exit the hardware business at some point.
I'm sure this game is just as charming without VR. Super Lucky's Tale proves that much. They are just limiting the potential of the game to be honest the "god view perspective" doesn't make or break the experience other than a loss of visual/resolution detail. I would rather play this in some kind of 4K experience.
Unless they pull off a miracle then I don't see this happening. Over ambitious PSVR games rarely turn out well, you end up with a blurry jagged pop in mess. That is neither fun or enjoyable to look at or play. It is possible they could get a 1080p image at 60fps on a PS4 Pro with engine changes and alterations but this has to run on a base PS4 too. Fallout 3 is a more realistic option and even that would require visual sacrifice.
I feel like this is the opposite direction of how Nintendo do things but this seems equally as wrong. (Hard to argue against free right?) I think releasing compilations of back a catalog for consoles is a better strategy. Like Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection.
Fallout 3 would make more sense
Seems like Sony would have been better creating a Mod Nation Racers VR. At least it would have got a solid 7 out 10 ;)
Doesn't Xbox backwards compatibility require an internet connection to download the games in the first place? So I'm not sure how this is about single player offline games. I agree with others who have said Microsoft's backwards compatibility is a wolf in sheep's clothing to sell you games digitally.
Wouldn't true backwards compatibility update the Xbox OS with an emulator and you'd be able to play the games from disc without having to download the game. Like ...
Probably the best VR game I've played to date, why? Because it understands all the limitations of VR and works within them. But like most VR games I was done with it after a few hours due to lack of content. I don't expect to see anymore content either given Ubisoft's record on VR releases.
Is anyone concerned that if you end up with a big digital library of games on Xbox you will lose them all if you decide to stop paying for access or switch platform. Further more is anyone concerned these kind of pass systems are anti-competitive and keep people locked into a walled garden?
wait for a full Digital Foundry analysis on any Bethesda game before you part with your cash.
