Give it a good mission mode.
Can the Xbox Pass and Microsoft buying EA news stories just die?
Rather buy a disc collection of 1,2,3,4
"For one thing, it’s tough enough for people to find the right group of gamers who will be willing to play this game the way it was meant to be played. Already, we’ve heard reports from beta players who have tried to match with random crew members and discovered they weren’t having near as much fun as some of the most popular streamers"
I had the exact same reservations. Looks like it has played out the way I thought it would.
Always Online DRM
Gameware are good australian retailer for games I have imported stuff from them before. Glad to see they are making a moral stand against this.
Console version please SEGA (disc). You have another Puyo Puyo Tetris on your hands.
is it not time they started bring these games to console so people can actually play it.
What happens when you stop paying? oh yeah that's right you can't play them the games anymore. and when you get the feeling of wanting to play them again a year or so down the line? that's right you won't pay even what seems like a cheap subscription because it will cost more than what the few old games are worth.
What happens when you have three platforms or potentially more maybe Steam and others join this? are you going to pay for them all? Highly unlikel...
I can't believe how thick and short sighted people are on this issue. They tried this at the launch of the X1 and got boo'd out the conference hall. Netflix model for games is lame and means less money for developers and less choice for consumers. e.g. "Take what we offer when we decide to add it or remove it" Have you learned nothing from Netflix or Spotify? You'll learn the lesson when it's to late of course then you'll expect everyone to moan for you.
We are but many people can't see 1 meter in front of themselves. It is classic Microsoft when they have nothing to offer just give it away for almost free to undercut and erode everything. I was planning on buying Sea of Thieves but after this announcement I'm not. I'm going Sony and Nintendo full time now.
I don't understand all the down votes when you made a perfectly valid point. I can only put it down to the younger generations not caring about ownership. At least they won't care until it is to late or when they want to switch platform. This kind of system stifles competition. Good luck continuing to play your games on the previous the platform you left because you stopped paying. Also this all you can eat race to the bottom mentality will only help kill certain genres of games that...
Always online DRM Single Player.
I'm not buying it for the same reason. I don't want a single player game I purchased to be shut off or no longer playable due to a patch not being distributed later down the line.
Single Player still requires online DRM.
I look at ARK and see very expensive and impressive commercials then I see the game and it is still unoptimised and broken and they are already trying to sell DLC? really?
Most n4g articles on Nintendo Labo seem to lack in comments, and the comments that do exist are generally negative so I'll take that as something telling.
Been saying this for a while, The only thing we need to contend with now is the fake gaming sites like Polygon , Kotaku, etc. trying to reverse this games fortune by writing puff piece articles to pump up the game based on their private konami event they had. Good journalism is not ignoring all the shitty microtransactions and always online requirement for single player.
Well I guess they have one more chance to get it right for a potential future physical release. As it stands I'm out.
Let me fix that for you, Monster Hunter World Dominates PS4 "Physical" Sales in Japan.
