This thing looks awesome
Worried about buying 5% of the Nintendo back catalogue all over again for the 4th time on a different device until it restarts on another? I think you are worrying about nothing, Kappa
But in all seriousness you should have probably given up on this concept already, seeing as they have not done this correctly multiple times already.
At some point it becomes no longer financially worth it to sell 30+ year old NES games and before anyone says it a subscrip...
Seems like a common thing that is happening with VR games now, Eve Valkyrie, Star Trek Bridge Crew, Battle Zone. Polybius
Time to jump off the Fortnite train
I was about to say the same thing.
I can still see a good amount of aliasing or jaggies. They either need to offer a 4K version or apply some AA.
You can run Shenmue 1&2 on DEMUL at 4K with 16:9 and 60fps. If it can't at least match that then I'm not sure what the motivation for PC users playing this version is.
I haven't seen anything to suggest a 60fps option either. Which would greatly improve the fighting responsiveness.
Stop charging for the base game.
Get a copy on the high street or online retailers if you want more exposure.
The performance you are talking about is the 30fps limit that was imposed on both console versions which made it hard on the eyes. Sonic platformer at 30fps is a no go.
Still 30fps unfortunately. Which is what put my off playing the console version. They should re-release for 60fps.
Digital Foundry didn't even test the broken multiplayer? Makes them look like Microsoft hacks to be honest. If they did they would find a game that shouldn't be on sale.
Running a RISC CPU on a CISC CPU is not that demanding. Most of the work for a Switch emulator has already been done ARM CPU wise NVIDIA have a full Tegra SDK setup and there other other Android solutions out there too. On the GPU side of things it's not being emulated, like many modern emulators the 3D graphics calls are just being redirected to your PC GPU.
and this is problem with the service right there. It is more akin to demo/trial service but you have to pay for it.
It is a bad game, played it at PAX

Finally a publication that isn't gushing over the Switch, Other publications would give it overpraise because A. They got it for free and B. it suits their traveling to conventions lifestyle. Which is not most people. Apparently you are not allowed to criticise the fact it has plastic easy scratch screen, bad dock, bad controller. poor battery life. bad online infrastructure.
Author says it will be full speed soon when the bugs in the dynamic re-compiler are fixed.
no buy then. :)
Be warned if you give valid criticism about a Switch port on N4G you'll get scorned by the Nintenbots. It is currently the poster child on N4G.
Paid the ultimate price for using mobile components. (The biggest hacking scene on the internet) Also a Switch Emulator last week.
