Would it have hurt to put 2 discs in the box?

I've definitely seen a much more positive reaction from 4K HDR screens than the PSVR, so if this problem stays then it suggests to me people will eventually give up on plugging in and unplugging their PSVR after a while.

People will say it is not a big deal but in a world were most things are wireless and the PSVR adds about 6 wires in total to your setup including the camera then it does become hassle.

It could just end up being a much more powerful DS style with TV dock. If it ends up being a tablet with detachable controllers then it has already lost the portable market.

This is just Microsoft's trojan horse method of trying to get rid of physical games again. Why? Physical games for Xbox One don't have a code in the box for Xbox Play Anywhere. Therefore not allowing you to download it on PC.

Anyone who has been following the latest information and current financials on VR development will see many companies and investors have already been looking for an "out" on the VR business as a whole, this incident just gave them a further cause to do so and I don't blame them either way.

The way backwards compatibility is implemented in the X1 is pretty poor, e.g. having to download a the full game you already have on disc and more data on top of that. It is basically non existent backwards compatibility if you are offline and if the online service is discontinued in the future which Microsoft have a track record of doing, backwards compatibility will be no more on X1.

I feel like the most critical point is when you read many thoughts and experiences on VR they all echo the same sentiment, It is cool for a very short period of time then the novelty wears off and they go back to playing on a TV/Monitor.

I'm not sure about you guys but I'm certainly not dropping $300+ on a device that is fun for a brief period of time and has less gaming application than a motion controller or 3DTV, add to the fact the long history of unsuccessful con...

To be honest VR has been nothing but 5 years of gaming journalists 5 minute experience hype.

When you look into the people who have actually got one or used one for an extended period of time you start to realize this is not a product for the home but one for an amusement arcade that doesn't exist anymore.

You also need software that can simulate a real world with real interactive intelligence or it just all falls flat. The term VR is completely inaccurate given our current state of technology. Currently there is no software that can simulate a "reality" so the actual experience just ends up being TV screen on your head with no outside interference.

VR is the biggest internet forum hype red herring going, This will end up costing companies more than Kinect/Move combined and no profit.

The mistake these companies will make is listening to the online elite when there will be no interest in the mass populace.

Don't bring it to the PS4, I tried it at Gamescom and I don't want it either.

How about you focus on just bringing the game out and making it better rather than wasting your time on concept products.

The VR fad came and went quicker than 3DTV's
