The first Uncharted did take GOTY away from the first Modern Warfare at least in some sites. I don't doubt that Uncharted 2 will get GOTY from most places, it has beat MW2 out with awards in many game shows.

I would say it's likely that the 360 would have something to counter it.
It's not surprising that the PS3 is low when there has been mass shortages and people waiting on the Slim, but what is absolutely shocking is IGN posting this trash. I thought they were above the bloggers/wannabe sites.
Why? It's tied into the auto industry so well. The other franchises are just games, Gran Turismo has a restaurant coming out as well as helped with making cars(GTR/Citroen).
PS2 was over saturated at that point, COD also includes PC gamers, and COD never was really that hot back on PS2/Xbox anyway. It was more of a 3rd rate generic shooter that didn't get huge popularity until Modern Warfare.
Especially when every MP game contains the same exact modes used since early 90s shooters? I don't find it to be very refreshing or worthy of playing unless the gameplay is really different.
Covering up the fact that it revealed multiplayer.... I hope by Multiplayer, they mean Co-Op just like in Resistance 2.

The clear see through box is still there, that has nothing to do with the boxart. I like this boxart though, it's like the PS2s but more elegant.

They could put Shattered Memories onto the disc in HD with 2 and 3 remastered in HD. Silent Hill 3 looked extremely good anyway and still holds its own. It rivaled Resident Evil 4 in graphics.
Well his credentials make this article worse. You would think someone with his credentials would bother to do some research and post correct information rather than what he has heard on the internet.
Poor memory? PS3 was outpacing the 360 in 2008 when the base model was $100 more than the top 360 model and now the base model is even with the top model while the base 360 model is gimped and doesn't sell as much as the Pro/Now Elite.
Winning so many awards for best in show has surly gotten the attention of most gamers.
With Final Fantasy XIII. Nothing will beat that.
