They obviously haven't been paying attention to Sony. Sony has said the PSP Go is performing to what they expected, they said the PSP has increased 300% since the Go's launch. What more do you want?!

I never said CFW was solely for piracy, but hacking leads to piracy. I don't think the few that don't pirate on CFW justifies hacking all PSPs for it. Especially with the tons of lowbudget-looking crap for homebrew they have out there.
There are tons of people like you on the net or others here that say CFW is the only reason they have a PSP. Most of them pirate so that proves to me that gamers with PSPs pirate. Maybe casual gamers that aren't very knowledgeable don't pirate, but...
We don't need more hacked PSPs. Hacking and piracy has already ruined it. There could be so many better games on PSP if it wasn't for the rampant piracy. Prices would probably be lower.

I was referring to August's NPD for PSP. That has nothing to do with the Go. All I was saying is if they were doing ok then, they're doing good now.
So you can't say it's doing stellar, but you can say they are doing much better than before. According to last month on NPD the PSP sold like 140k so it was just doing ok, not good and not bad.
That Sony has said the Go is performing on par with what they expected, it's safe to say it's not doing poorly. If the Go also helps sell 3000s then all is good. I just hate how haters can't accept that people like the Go. :|

Ferel, I'm just saying that the PSP 3000 is the main reason for the spike is just as flawed as saying the Go is the only reason for the spike. Obviously a new handheld came out, obviously that is going to cause a spike as well as with all of the new content out. NPD will lump the Go with PSP so it's not going to tell you how much the Go sold anyway.

PSP sells are up, you can't just atribute that all to the 3000. I have no doubt it spiked sells and it'll do crazy well in Japan since we all know those Japanese love smaller devices. ;)
The iPod touch is not innovative, it doesn't do anything the classic iPods couldn't aside from browse the web.
I agree that design does add to the price and that is why so many want a Go because of the design. The double standard between the iTouch and Go is disgusting.

Go write down every serial number and come back in a week. Tell me if they aren't selling then, because that's the only way you can tell.
Since you did not know, retailers have warehouses and restock frequently. They are supposed to fill empty shelf space with new stock. Having an empty shelf or full shelf does not have any indication of what is selling. We all know iPods sell very well, but they are never out of stock.
