JOY, you're crazy. Are you referring to MW2 as the best game?.....lmfao, Say's who? Oh thats right, so say's you and the rest of the XDF. MW2 is a great game, Wii Sports is just a better game and myself along with the other 50+ mil more who chose to buy Wii Sports are laughing at your "I'm bitter because MW2 didn't sell as much as Wii Sports" BS claim.
I'm thinking this is for America. I remember reading in North America it had hit 800k already. No way it'd be 600k in NA but only 400k in Europe since they have a higher install base anyway.
You have no source for the sold numbers, stop making crap up.
You see a fan of Killzone 2 isn't necessarily a fan of PS3, have you ever thought that they might just like the game?
Any rational person understands and acknowledges the flaws in KZ2. While a good game you are right that it does have those faults(except KZ2 brought more innovation to the genre [with the first FPS cover system] that MW2 did), what people are complaining about is that gamers and critics alike both bagged on those faults and made it clear that they were there. Now ...
Glad they took that crown from Activision. I used to hate EA almost as much as I hate Activision now, but they have redeemed themselves lately.
Um, did they forget about Driver and Driver 2? lol
I may have to try it out first, but I wasn't too impressed by the first(COD4) and this seems just like more of the same from what I have seen.
It's just my opinion, but from what I've seen I haven't seen anything that is worthy of the hype. You don't have to get so defensive about a game you are interested in.
If people want it, whatever. I'm skipping it for Bad Company 2 and Mag. MW2 is all hype with nothing to back it up, imo.
Because of the shift with the 360 being the best selling HD console in America instead of the Playstation, they put their games on the 360 and when they fail they think it's because the West just doesn't like their games when that is absolutely not true.
They also think that their games are inferior and that the West develops better games. Hence why you have Square trying to Westernize which is completely destroying what made them good. Sure they can Westernize, but then they are...
I've played tons of JRPGs that are different in art style. That said, if you feel that way you will just end up feeling the same way with WRPGs when you realize they have a lot of similarities as well.
Yeah, I'll take this over MW2 any day. It's not perfect, but if I'm going to get a militaristic shooter I'll be getting this.
You can hang up pictures in your apartment... If you made it only 5 minutes, I doubt those things you listed would make you interested in Home. You'd go play music and then the novelty would wear off very quickly.
It got released early in many places.
R2 improved on FOM in everyway, but lost its personality. Tbh, FOM didn't have a fantastic story. It was explained better through narration, but I think they both were about equal.
Well that is the obvious method for which they get their estimates from, that does not make them accurate at all. They have been way off in the past before.
Historical data can get you somewhat close, but not when you have no weekly historical data to go off of. I'm not saying they can't be close in their guesses, but that doesn't make them reliable.
You can give me all your reasons why you think they are the best thing and NPD reliable, but you aren't going to chang...
A site that does not post their source(s) and does not post how they get their info would be a laughing stock of any industry. At least polling sites like J.D. Powers gives reference to how they rate things, at least NPD gives info on how they come up with their numbers.
Plus if NPD doesn't even do weekly numbers in the U.S., how can you say that VGChartz does? They have no sources to go by and I seriously doubt they do any tracking of their own as proven by their estimates which...
Because there's no way VGChartz knows weekly figures. What's worse is they don't even cite their source... :|
That's most likely due to the fact that the majority of the game was finished before the Go was announced. This same thing happened with trophies on PS3. Everyone thought that Sony said every game after released in '09 would be required to have trophies, but that wasn't what they said. Sony said that every game starting DEVELOPMENT in '09 was to have trophies. I think the same thing is happening here.
A lot of the companies not jumping on the bandwagon are pretty dumb if you ask...
Anyway on the Go, I think this is a great sale. I personally bought one for $210 and probably would have payed the full price. I only had one UMD so I figured there would be no remorse of lacking them.
I avoided every main complaint about the Go and even then I think the complaints are weak excuses. Now, obviously, the Go isn't for everyone. I accept this, but some people just make up ridiculous excuses for why it sucks just because they prefer UMDs. :| Funny, a year ago everyone...
No, that's their deal. For BF only, Best Buy ported L4D2 to PS3. Hurry while they last!
