If it's not Uncharted 2, it's not a real award. It's an imaginative figurine given due to hype or popularity.
Man, you can have your preferences but I have huge hands and am completely fine with the DS3. I don't see how it's so hard to reach down for the left stick when you have to do the exact same thing with the right one.
It's perfectly fine for FPS and racers.
I like the 360 controller design, but I like the PS3 controller design just as much if not more. The first time I ever held a 360 controller though, there was a huge difference in quality. The 360 controller feels extremely cheap compared to the DS3.
Not good enough of a game to deserve it. Not to mention the story in Modern Warfare isn't good. Who wants to watch a movie about a modern war anyway? I can so an overly glamorized WW2 movie, but not of a fake modern one with no element of history in it.
This is the definitive title of the holiday, best quality. I don't see why they single out PS3 players as the only ones who should buy it, because every gamer should get it regardless. Barring financial status, there is no reason not to get this game(or this game and a new PS3 if you don't have one).
I'm sure it's #1 on most gamer's lists. At that price it is now competitively priced with its competition.
I can only hope they use a new engine and change it up or else they'll have a series that slowly withers and dies like Guitar Hero is now.

Zipper had lots of problems with Socom 2 as well with glitchs/ers, cheaters, lag, etc. People just overlooked that at the time since it was the most popular shooter and ushered online gaming onto the PS2.
I skipped Socom Confrontation at launch because I knew it was mediocre at the time. I recently got it for free after the 1.50 patch and it is a very good game. Reminds me of Socom. I just wish it had single player, because I never really played online on the PS2 versions much. ...

I doubt you ever complained when Microsoft said Xbox 360 has the best games available on any system. Basically a flat out lie to be taken literally, when this slogan is obviously not meant to be taken literally.
You are taking it literally. Does it toast your bread? No, but the slogan basically means it does more than every other console out there.
Uncharted 2 must win, even 360 supporters can see this. The fanboys can't, but people who prefer 360 and are rational can see quality when it's there.
If MW2 steals this, it will be crap. Also Killzone 2 was better than MW2. Better single player and very good multiplayer. The MP in KZ2 might not be as good as MW2s, but overall I'd say KZ2 is the whole package.

What do graphics have to do with how good the game is or not? Socom 2 had poor graphics for its time and it became one of the most successful online games ever.
If there really is no teamwork, all you have to do is get a bunch of buddies with mics and dominate. I mean since you'd be the only guys using teamwork it should be easy, right?
Square will probably look at the stronger 360 sells compared to the PS3 sells and think that the 360 has a bigger fanbase, even though PS3 has way more competition.
kz2 was just fine wout co-op. it would have been better with it, but didn't need it. KZ3 will most probably have co-op though.
