MAG is for Socom fans and fans of team oriented games, Resistance is for Sci-fi shooter fans, and Killzone is for hardcore shooter fans.
All three are very different from eachother.
This guy obviously doesn't work at Sony and has no clue as to how they operate. I distinctly remember Kaz saying that the hardware was still losing some money on the slim, but through other revenue(accessories,games,etc) they would be making money. Plus the PS2 and PSP make them money. I know the gaming division was in the red for awhile after PS3 launched, but have been in the black now.
"Uhh, yeah, I do. You seem to have forgotten the PS3 launch line up. I don't need a list of games - I'm just wondering what developers have said they will have launch games ready and in the case of the PS Wand/Arc/Whatever, I haven't heard much.
On top of that Sony seems to have trouble rallying up instant third party support for PS3 features and accessories. Same goes for Custom Tracks, Trophies (when it originally launched), in-game picture taking etc. A bunch of cool feat...

@ above, I don't think the PS Wand will be forgotten if it had good games and support for it. Which judging by the games revealed at TGS there will be. New Ape Escape designed specifically for the motion controls? Sign me up! Plus the tons of companies saying they'll port Wii games, ugh... Although to the average consumer, if the PS3 has everything the Wii does and more why buy a Wii? T...
So if it had one upped Natal by coming out in March, it would have been worse than just releasing it at the same time. Even if they marketed it heavily in March, they'd have a popular product until Natal came out and is touted as the "new" thing. It pretty much always happens that way, where the newest thing gets hyped more than the previous stuff.
Also this way, Sony can ride on the hype of Natal.

Knuckles was the best thing to ever happen to Sonic and made Sonic 3 better than the rest(especially Sonic 3 & Knuckles).
The spectators don't look that bad, all they need are better animations.
In 3 months it has reached a milestone where only MGS4 and Resistance 1 has been able to reach in their lifetimes. So N/A 1 million group belong to Uncharted 2, MGS4, and Resistance.
Uncharted 2 already at 1 million in America alone... I believe MGS4 is barely past the 1 million mark. U2 is definitely a big seller for the PS3.
I like them both the same leaning towards the US version. The EU version is just too plain. Only thing I like better is the font on the EU.
So? PS2 was saturated by 2005, no game sold 10+ million and for a new IP GOW did pretty well. GOW2 was released when most core gamers had already moved on to newer consoles, so it's obvious why it sold less. In this case, install base does not matter and I'm betting GOW3 will sell nearly as well as the first two combined.
They said it would be ONE of MANY tipping points, they did not blatantly say MAG will own everyone who hasn't gotten a PS3 and make them want one.
I have seen lots of people interested in the title though, some buying a PS3 because it was the "tipping point", and lots who liked the beta. I was in the beta and did not like it at first, but through out the phases they kept improving and improving. There's no doubt the final version will be better.
Shut up vicker! Geeze, you do realize that not all DLC is the same? Some is very worth it and others are not. This DLC happens to have a very good concept and will most probably be a nice chunk in size. Not everyone says PS3 exclusives have great DLC, I remember tons of people saying Killzone 2's DLC wasn't worth it.
