I don't like how linear it is. But it is a great game. I have the same qualm with Uncharted 2.
The experience is so controlled. It's like the developers are holding my hand.
I loved Halo 2 SP. I played it before I played Halo CE, so when I heard that Halo CE was supposed to have a better campaign, I played it.
Halo 2's campaign is so much more varied in terms of environments. And the flood levels genuinely scared me.
I even liked playing as the Arbiter.
The only downside was the cliffhanger ending.
Sony is not the retailer.
2 wrongs don't make a right my friend.
This game is only as awesome as the player wielding it. I suck at this kind of stuff. If I paid for the game and didn't like it, it wouldn't be Media Molecule's fault. Hmmm. Dilemma.
When I was younger, my father would teach me how to box all the time.
When I got older I realized he just liked to hit me.
JK. I heard that joke on the telly.
I'm not going to get this. It only serves to augment the gaming experience, I suppose. I'm not rich enough to toss 150 bucks around for it. I still need an HDTV, scratch that, 3DTV.
"This is an example of 'Blind fanboy'"
It's also possible that Bungie, GreenRingOfLife, Turn10, etc, is a Sony fanboy who pretends to be a 360 fanboy in order to make the 360 fanboys seem even more direputable.
Just a thought.
@Darknikon.
I don't think so. He's got to be messing with us.
Raiden sucked in MGS4? Did you even play the game? Raiden was an ass-kicking, slice-and-dice ninja assassin in MGS4.
I assume you're just trolling again because MGS Rising isn't a PS3 exclusive.
Aha, and now I get the big picture. Intel and Nvidia are fighting a silent battle. Intel is trying to snuff out the GPU industry by creating a CPU that can do graphical work. And Nvidia is trying to create a general purpose GPU that can do general computations.
Intel's plan was Larrabbee, and Nvidia's plan is CUDA.
And now to Pandamobile with more startling information.
He finds the slightest flaws in even the greatest games and magnifies them to make them seem worse than they are.
If he found one unlikeable sidequest in a massive RPG, he would go on about it as if it was a major part of the game.
There's only a handful of games that he doesn't trash.
I've listened to so many of his reviews. He doesn't really seem to like any game other than Silent Hill 2 and some Zelda game.
Go listen to his Uncharted 2 review. He tears it apart, going so far as to criticize it for having good graphics. And he wasn't joking around.
Below: You only trust his opinion and CGRHD's? You must have like 3 games in your library then.
"Why do all that?"
Well, although it seems like a lot, it would be easier to do than to add a Blu Ray drive to the 360, and it would be great fanservice. There are several games in the works that will require multiple disks. Rage is one of them. It would be a good thing for MS to do, and I don't think it would cost them a lot. How much do those hard drives cost them?
If they still use the Gamebryo engine for ES5 I will be angry. Look at my avatar for details.
You slowly went from being a PS3 fan to a troll.
I thought they were going to make an Iphone 4G with Verizon service.
Add an another disc, and bundle the game with a free harddrive (Microsoft's treat, of course) and now everyone who wants can install the discs onto the drive and play the game.
Microsoft may also need to add a transfer cable so gamers can transfer their profiles to the new drive.
Demon's Souls is great. But I'm not committed enough to finish it. I like that it's not forgiving but I think they went a tad overboard with how unforgiving it really is.
The Gamecube was more powerful than the PS2. The prime example was Resident Evil 4. The game was made on the Gamecube and then downgraded for the PS2. Of course, it may have just been a bad port. But the Gamecube was certainly not a weak console in comparison to the PS2.
