LMAO, you think HL is not that good? What is your idea of a good game?
Valve not only makes great games, they also have one of the best, if not the best, digital distribution system, STEAM. And every other week I can find amazing deals on so many great games.
Everything they do helps the gamer.
I know right? If you go to any other site, people love Gabe. He's actually a very modest person. He makes jokes about himself, he responds to fan emails.
He doesn't really belong on this list, and pretty much nobody besides Jack Thompson belongs on this list. This list is only catering to the PS3 crowd.
Aaron Greenburg and Yoichi Wada and Gabe Newell have all apparently offended the PS3 fanboys to such an extent that the PS3 fanboys have delud...
"Oh they went Multiplatform maybe they didn't want to make more games for Microsoft or maybe they didn't want Microsoft ruining their name with more games with Halo tagged on and cheap ports. "
And you have 3 bubbles?
Why did Insomniac go multiplat? Because they didn't want Sony ruining their games?
The answer is money. Bungie can make more money from selling games on multiple platforms. 10 million on one console is...
Father's Day is coming up.
Dreamsquasher.
Forever? Resident Evil 5 was not scary at all and had the worse inventory system.
If I can't run and shoot, I'm not playing it.
These comments suck. This news is more surprising than anything I've heard about in the past 2 weeks and everyone is off missing it. It's going to be awesome.
Only better first party support is feasible. Microsoft doesn't need to support Blu-Ray for the 360. It's late in the gen, and Microsoft has pulled through for five years without it.
All they need is to build their first party studios and continue to support the 360 for as long as Sony supports the PS3.
No cost. Major profit, actually.
And if people thing that Nintendo will continue the motion control trend, they got another thing coming. I'm actually more shocked that Sony and Microsoft jumped on the motion control bandwagon, and so late, too.
It's not like asking how magnets work, but funny, nonetheless.
I hate those people, man. I always imagine that right when they're about to swing the sledgehammer down on the PS3/360 or right when they're dropping it from shoulder height to the ground I would jump out from behind them and grab the console and run off. That's actually my goal.
Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2 are extremely linear. You can't compare them to Crysis. Sure, Crytek is working with powerful PC specs, but the attention to detail in an open-world game like Crysis shows that they have talent. The only problem was the cloned palm trees.
Did you play it alone with the lights off in the middle of the night with the volume cranked up to eleven?
Do Motorstorm's maps all follow a basic theme or are there varied environments? You guys are acting all disappointed because of a couple of city maps. For all you know, there will be jungle levels and island levels and arctic levels. Right? I mean, that's why we have 50 gig discs. Variety.
Killzone 2 is 90% percent on Metacritic. Killzone 2 is a success. When I was playing it, I wasn't arbitrarily thinking about how many other people were playing it. It's a great game, so stop bringing sales into it.
The controls in Halo are the one thing I wouldn't criticize.
The Nintendo DS is split up into three SKUs. Overall, it's on top.
The PS3 is pwning 360, though.
shut the fuck up.
The Xbox 360 has more JRPGs than the PS3 does, and has had two iterations of it's racing simulator franchise released so far, as well as 4 of the best WRPGs of this gen, including FO3, ES4, ME1&2, and DAO.
To say that 360 is good at shooters and nothing else, well, I'll just say that you're very adept at being inept.
I think Half Life 2 is the best shooter out there.
So I'm looking forward to the Episode 3.
