The biggest risk is buying a used 360 that was banned for modding.
I'll gladly buy an RROD 360 for maybe 80 bucks because I can fix it myself for 5 bucks.
But a banned 360 is not worth it because anything worth having a 360 for has online features. Including Alan Wake for its DLC.
The first Dead Space barely sold a million copies across three different platforms (360, PS3, PC).
It must be very disappointing for a developer to work hard to create a game of such high quality and spent so much money on development only to get back 1 million copies on three platforms. They probably didn't make any money on that game.

I agree with you guys but I'm upset that some developers will be forced to incorporate 3D into their games and in order to do this they will have to either reduce the resolution or else compromise the visuals in some way, and seeing as how I bought the HD consoles for HD I'd rather have that for now instead of 3D.
Sony can push 3D with films, they should push it with games I think. Not now, anyway.

This is exactly why I play games. I say something and people assume I'm getting into an argument. I feel like the victor now (of this non-existent argument) because I feel you have proved my point.
I play videogames to escape the crap of reality. The constant debates that will never end and the fact that we are always hurting each other's feelings are major reasons why I play games, man.
I understand that it is fully within the developer's rights to incorporate their own opinions about real world issues into their games, but it defeats the purpose for someone like me to play that game.
