They're not even trying to get you to buy one. Their demographic target has changed from whiny know-it-alls on the internet to the exercise junkie moms.
The size has remained the same and there are more air vents. The internal components have been shrunk down. Hence, there's a shitload more airflow. That in itself will help reduce RROD because the X-clamps that usually fall off due to excess heat won't heat up anymore.

I disagree. I think that Microsoft has left the case the same size while reducing the chipset size for a reason. I believe Microsoft has solved the RROD problem with this redesign. The one year warranty is a standard thing. PS3 had a warranty on it and doesn't really need it.
IGN is playing both sides. Once they saw that Kinect's event didn't quite connect with the media, they decided to side with Move.
It's going to be shown on MTV. Do you know what kind of people watch MTV? The same people who love Justin Beiber, that's who. So, I think if the music industry can make people like that 14 year old girl who has no talent whatsoever, Microsoft can sell Kinect to the soccer moms.
I hope now people won't claim that IGN is being paid off by Microsoft.
How can they screw up? They've announced awesome games before E3 so no matter how poorly they perform at E3 they can still fall back on their games.
I will say this. I think the MTV showing on Tuesday will be better received by television viewers after MS makes some serious edits and positive additions to their creep event.

Developers talk big about their projects. Naughty Dog did it with Uncharted 2. Infinity Ward did it with Cod4. Turn 10 did it with Forza 3 and 4A did it with Metro 2033.
