I think the visuals look fantastic.
A huge step up from Halo 3 in the campaign graphics.
And no one compared it to Uncharted 2 besides a couple of 360 fanboys, so so much for making a blanket generalization.
MS needs to be humbled. Tomorrow I hope Sony will break them. From that point on I hope Microsoft will change as a company.
Microsoft is going to edit that conference for MTV. It will, in my opinion, appear ten times better to the audiences at home.
That certainly seems to be the mentality here.
Not really. Microsoft pulled it so they could launch the 360 and force the Xbox owners to buy the 360 so they could have a head start against the PS3.
A painful death would be something like the Dreamcast, which was being sold for 99 bucks about 3 months after launch.
Standalone Blu Ray players of much better quality than the one you will find in a PS3 cost about 60 bucks around now.
Remember Halo Combat Evolved?
Kinect needs a killer app, right? How can this game be Kinect's killer app if it also for the PS3?
The point is that Microsoft needs exclusives to move consoles.
I wonder if Microsoft has anything up their sleeves. Dear God, I hope so. The Sony fanboys are loving this too much.
Reach gameplay.
It's worth watching.
Microsoft will be forced to lower the price later. Kinect games are not full-fledged titles and don't have big budgets. MS cannot justify a 60 dollar price tag.
That would work well. Also, MGS Rising + MOVE would work well.
BBC are like the best news service in the world. I don't think they really like Microsoft very much.
The Ps3 fanboys have been on a rampage too. I've caught 4 or 5 PS3 fanboys who joined in the last few hours, and are talking major shit.
Multi-console owners will buy the 360 version during that one month-exclusivity, if they are major fans of COD they won't wait. Microsoft will get more royalties from that. That's why they made the deal.
It's all about the reliability.
For some that's all that matters.
Edit: Of course, only time will tell if this SKU is reliable.
Keep saying it. Keep saying Epic fail and keep imagining that MS is a small company like Sega who will be forced to exit the market and peddle Yakuza sequels in Japan.
Kinect is kind of like the PS3 when it first launched. Lots of potential but zero output.
Sony built the games around the PS3.
Why do you assume that Microsoft won't build games around Kinect?
Ask yourself that
Also, the PS3 need a damned...
E3 is tomorrow, dude. This was a pre-E3 event.
So if Sony gives stuff away it's because they are generous. If Microsoft gives stuff away it's because they're "bribing" people.
Where's the distinction?
Kingdoms by Crytek.
Also, MS acquired Alan Wake and was criticized for it. If MS acquires a studio to make exclusive games, people will criticize MS for forcing the studio to make games exclusively for MS. I think that no matter what MS does they will not be appreciated and will be hated more by certain people. And I think you are one of those people, and this site is overrun with those kinds of people.
The industry is constantly changing tatotiburon. You cannot expect for Halo to always remain dominant. After all it is just another shooter, and other shooters have and will come along to make it look outdated.
Killzone 2 didn't fail to be a halo killer because Killzone 2 wasn't meant to be a halo killer.
If you think that Killzone 3 is going to fade into obscurity then you're dead wrong.
