But I made a reply in another thread earlier today to a guy who wanted people to make racist jokes about Puerto Ricans.
I said, and I'll try and paraphrase what I said as best as I can, "Why should we? Are Puerto Ricans more likely to steal than other people?"

I like the asymmetrical design of the analog sticks on the 360 pad, but the directional pad is crappy. I also prefer the L2/R2 triggers.
The DS3 is great as well, and I usually don't have problems with it. I think Nintendo makes the worst controllers.

Because it didn't have enough games to justify purchasing it. Like I said in my above post. The success of the PS2 was achieved by two factors: many good games, and the ease of hacking the console. Why would I purchase an Xbox and hack it if it only has a few good games?
Piracy is what helped the PS2 sell so well last generation. Many will argue that it was the games. But I think that piracy played a big part in making the PS2 the popular go-to console in addition to the games because the many games on the PS2 made it worth pirating. On the other hand, even though the Xbox could also be chipped, it didn't have as many games.
If the PS3 is now profitable for Sony from a hardware standpoint, then Sony might welcome the piracy in some way...

I purchased Uncharted 2 for 40 bucks one week after it launched. What is your point?
It did work for Microsoft. They released an unreliable console with DVD instead of Blu-Ray, and they managed to overtake North America from the PS brand. I'd call that a major success.
My fucking 5 year old iPod holds 30 gigs.
I don't think Fallout New Vegas will be good on PS3. I don't trust Obsidian at all to make a good game, let alone a glitch-free game.

Generally, games are improved after the betas because the developers see what was wrong with the game and fix it. So, I think you don't know how betas work and how games like this are fixed.
You guys are all assuming that Samsung and Microsoft didn't have an agreement about this commercial already? I don't think Samsung would be stupid enough to use a Spartan lookalike in their commercial without first consulting Microsoft. This ad was probably made this way on purpose because it will continue to remind people of Halo.

The same could be said about Gears of War hat-tipping Killswitch.
Killswitch is a mediocre game with the tps cover system being the best feature.
You guys are watching a low quality compressed video on Youtube. Even at 720p, youtube videos are really compressed and blurry compared to direct feeds. Please don't judge any game based on what you see on Youtube.
There are plenty of videos of Killzone 2 on youtube that look blurry. But you can't judge the game based on those, can you?
I think Sony will make a slight alteration to the dualshock next gen. since shooters are really popular I think Sony will make the L2/R2 more like triggers and the analogs will be depressed on the surface.
