What you're saying is stupid, Chronojoe.
You're assuming that everyone who buys a 360 is completely uninformed about the cost of XBL, and that they are duped into paying for it because they have no choice.
That's bullshit because people make the decision to buy one console over the other based on price, word of mouth, and media reviews.
In 2006 when the PS3 launched, all three of these points were against the PS3.
I don't understand why it's being released in Korea. Koreans mostly play Starcraft 1 or 2.
How many copies did Dark Cloud sell? Dark Cloud sold how many?
If these games only sold modestly, I think it's a little selfish of the fans to want Level 5 to make a third one because in this terrible economy studios are closing down right and left. If the IP isn't a moneymaker, why do gamers demand that the studios risk their livelihoods on the "impassioned" requests of a few fans?
There's a certain mentality in America, and I too am infected by it. When I see two competing products, one of them cheaper than the other, usually assume the more expensive product must be better.
When I shop for deli meat at the supermarket, I assume the New England Smoked Ham is fresher and better than the Black Forest Ham because it costs more. For all I know, the farm where the meat comes from charges more for their livestock and that might be why the ham costs mo...
""Kinect, we believe, introduces the ability to interact with content in a way people haven't even imagined yet," Johnson said."
A bold-faced lie.
""Expanding into other devices is key to what we're doing. Continuing to take Live broader than the console has always been part of the core concept.""
And they plan on doing this with a handful of studios?
What does the core gamer have to loo...

If your point was that multi-console owners should buy the PS3 version, then I agree.
If your point was just to state the obvious that it's better to have it on one disc instead of two, then I agree.
But if your point was that the 360 version will be significantly worse because it's on two discs, then disagree.
"The exception of course being Core, Arcade... or any console missing a hard drive, but even then you can test those configurations with the single kit by disabling the HDD etc.
Again, Microsoft doesn't require you to test for this issue, and so the developer cannot be blamed if it doesn't work on Microsoft's platform, since they followed Microsoft's guidelines. "
Sorry, Foliage, but you can't set the conditions of the argument j...
It doesn't really change the point I'm trying to make.
Platinum didn't really blame the PS3 hardware, either. The point I'm making is that the developer can't blame the hardware for being unsuited to their software because they're supposed to develop the software to work FOR the hardware.
The developer should have an intimate knowledge of what hardware they are working with. The fact that you label MS, "M$" means I shouldn't bother explaining it to you.
Well I heard the Gears 2 online was broken so it's a surprise anyone was playing it.
Artistically, one of the coolest things I've seen for video games. I prefer this to realism any day of the week.
I don't really like how long it takes for me to load trophies and compare them with other people. If Sony fixes that then trophies will be a lot better than achievements in every way. Overall, I prefer the concept of trophies to numbered achievements.
Games and movies are not the same thing.
If a film was on two discs then you'd have to get up and swap discs within two hours. But if you're playing a game across two discs, then you'd had to change discs after as much as 20 hours of gameplay on the first disc. Sure, I'd rather have it all on one disc, but it doesn't harm the experience for me at all, unless it's an open world game. If it's a linear game then by all means, spread it across mul...
On this website people only care about large numbers when it comes to hardware specifications.
If they see that PS3 has 7 SPUs, they think that it means it has 7 cores. One guy tried to convince me that SPUs are the same as cores. They don't understand very much.
Then why aren't you playing it right now?
Question
Actually Demon's Souls is very linear. It's certainly not an open-world title.
And little big planet is a side-scrolling platformer with vertical movement. So, it too, is pretty linear.
I agree with what Big Silky is saying. Aside from having great visuals, PS3 exclusives still tend to be linear in terms of gameplay. inFamous and its sequel and WKC and Yakuza games are the only open world exclusives. But of those games, only inFamous 2 really s...
Thank you, oh Great Decider, for deciding who can use what term when.
Trying to ride the coattails of someone else's humor?
Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning? You're usually a pro-PS3 user but today you're arguing with me for criticizing Microsoft? What the fuck is this? If I say something critical of PS3, a million PS3 fanboys jump down my throat. If I say something critical of 360, I get the same reponse?
