AAA refers to budget, not necessarily quality. So, Remedy actually knows if it's AAA or not because they have a clear idea of the budget.
AAA actually refers to the budget. We sometimes say a game is AAA quality to reflect that it has high production values and is thus a great game, although many big budget AAA titles have been received poorly, like Too Human and Haze.
I think Alan Wake is a great game. Not 90+, but worth playing.

If it stole the show it did it in a bad way. I guess in terms of publicity it stole the show, but most of the publicity was negative.
I guess you didn't see Gears 3, Halo Reach, Fable 3, the Mass Effect 2 DLC, Crysis 2, and Kingdoms trailers. There is certainly no shortage of games on the 360. There's shitload more on the PS3, but it's not like the 360 has no games.

It's not the same level of 3D that the PS3 can do. There's a debate as to whether the 360 can do stereoscopic 3D as opposed to the to a basic 3D whose name escapes me at the moment.
