Do you even have a 360?
If you do then you probably wouldn't call Fable 2 garbage.
Fable 2 has its flaws but it falls short of being a bad game. It's a decent game with a few problems and was hyped to be a masterpiece, which it wasn't.
A garbage game is the Iron Man movie game or Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust.
I'm willing to wait on that issue of reliability. Microsoft has shipped a bunch of these new consoles and so far we've had maybe 4 or 5 reports on the net with video that show that the console can indeed be bricked, but I think percentage-wise, the number of these new consoles that have bricked in relation to the number that have been sold says that the console is indeed more reliable.
But again, I don't trust anecdotal evidence very much. I don't like heari...
He's overly concerned with the aesthetics of the 360S. I don't really care how ugly the new design is. The reliability of the console is the only thing that concerns me and I think a lot of other people are also concerned by it.
Nothing else about the 360 is a secret. We know how much it costs, we know how powerful it is, we know it's negatives and its positives, we know what games to look forward to. What else is there to talk about than its reliability?
Your comment is only relevant to the title of the article. And as we know, N4G articles are usually titled a certain way in order to catch the eye. So, yeah, insofar as the title is concerned, your comment is relevant, but the content of the article is about used game sales and charging money to re-activate the online mode in games, and Turn 10 so far has nothing to do with either of those things and hasn't talked about them.
xbox controller.
Microsoft shouldn't be downplaying 3D. I for one do not care for it but I would never claim to the media whether or not it would become popular some day. I think that 3D will take off when the economy gets better and 3DTVs become cheaper, so MS should just say that they'll become more involved in 3D when the prices go down and their consumer demographic demands it. To me that's a more respectful response and doesn't criticize anybody.
You are starting to get as annoying as GreenRingofLife and Bungie. Please stop being a troll.
I guess that is true, but it all depends on the total price of the game after I pay the five bucks to get the online mode. This also means I have to use my credit card or use some kind of point system to pay EA or Ubisoft to activate the online.
It can very quickly become a hassle for gamers who want to save some dough. Or I can just wait for the price to drop on Amazon for a new copy of a game.
I was expecting a more thorough article from a guy who claims he was the first journalist to see the iPhone, the Wii, and the 360.
Instead, the guy is taking jabs at the aesthetics of the 360S. And he titles it, "The New Xbox 360 Slim is a Big Step Backward."
I don't think so, Lev Grossman. I think it's a small step forward. I think that Microsoft shouldn't focus on the aesthetics of the product, rather than the reliability.
It's not a real person.
How many of these new consoles have had the issue, because other than the few I've heard about I haven't seen the same percentage of consoles bricking that happened with the old 360.
To me, it's not an issue anymore but I believe these websites will continue to post videos of their bricked new 360s in order to keep the claim that MS hasn't solved the issue. I'd rather wait for an independent source to take a valid survey and let us know what the failure...
"I just wanted to let everybody know that. Thanks guys."
Nope, you were looking for hits.
He's talking about charging consumers who by used games a fee for accessing the online mode. He's not talking about the developer's public image.
Ya, the whole point of the one year headstart was to gain a marketshare before PS3 entered the market. If MS did a recall then it would've been a pointless cost to them. They felt they could continue to sell the console as it was and hope that their extended warranty would be enough to cover it.
I liked the Reach campaign demo. Gears 3 looked good as well, and I will be buying Fable 3 for sure.
The best version of Portal 2 will be the PC version.
For PC gamers, the announcement was pure meh. I bet the 360 fanboys were upset, though.
edit: scratch that, the PC gamers were pissed that Valve didn't show HL2 episode 3.
Parapraxis, everything you said in your third post to me sounds like the regurgitated drivel of some Dawkins or Hitchens wannabe. Again you're making the same fucking assumptions about people, claiming that religious people don't give a shit about their lives because they believe in an afterlife. I'm not even going to get into that because that right there is ignorance. You can't make blanket generalizations about a whole lot of different people based on their religious aff...
People always find a way to make anything into a competition.
Exercise games? Different strokes for different folks, I guess. But I would have invested the money in protein bars, a pull-up bar, and some jogging shoes.
