Bungie doesn't have to lock me out of team slayer. They can just put you with players who have the maps and put me with players who don't. And we can all still play Team Slayer. Bungie just forces me to buy the maps by locking me out of team slayer, altogether.

I think if this kind of DL speed becomes standard and IF the internet service providers remove downloading caps, digital distribution will become a standard distribution method for console games.
If there's one thing I have against Bungie it's their map pack pricing and the way they lock you out of certain multiplayer modes like team slayer until you purchase the map packs. It's a really fucked up thing to do and Bungie makes a lot of fucking money from the core game itself so I don't see why they should be the ones who do this. Maybe they won't do it with REACH (lock people out of modes) but I'm not holding my breath.
I think it looks pretty bad for maxed out PC graphics. It looks a little worse than the Source engine (modded).
Vhero, put your fanboyism aside for the moment. Do you really think that Microsoft, after suffering a billion dollars over RROD warranties and having the 360's image ruined by the problem, would redesign the console and release it with the same failure rate?

There's so many more valid points against Kinect than the way it makes you look when you're playing.
- The cost.
- The lack of killer apps.
- The lag.
- The lack of precision.
- The lack of implementation in core games.
Let's not resort to bashing Kinect based on the idea that it makes you look stupid when you play. I'm not defending Kinect, but I don't think that's a valid reason to hate it.

It came out on PC as well, and has been a multiplat game for quite some time. It's not really a PS franchise, just like Mass Effect is not really a 360 franchise.

Well, don't be dishonest. 360 fanboys also exist on this site and they also talk crap. I'm not going to show you proof because it's a common phenomenon.
One example was MAG. Another example was when the PS3 version and the 360 version of FF13 were rated the same by IGN. Although the experience may have been similar, one version's visuals were clearly inferior to the other's and that should have been noted in the final score, but it wasn't.
