Carmack always said, from the very beginning, that the PS3 was theoretically more powerful. He said that architecture-wise, the two MIGHT have similar output because of bottleneck issues. He has never ever said that they were equal in power.
Those people who completed it in under one hour have played it multiple times so they know how to get past every puzzle. It's more efficient to post an hour long walkthrough spread over a few videos than a three hour walkthrough.
I find it sad that you've never experienced a game that had such a high level of quality you could play it for years on end. That's what Halo games are, and Half Life game, and Civilization games, and Starcraft.
I find it sad that you put so much value in 35 dollar a year fees. I've had to pay 375 dollars for a book for one college class that lasted a semester. Now you can see how 35 dollars a year doesn't sound like much.
I will be paying to play Halo Reach for the next 3 years. I don't care what anyone thinks of me because you all won't see me on this site. I will be having a blast, and the people who complain about a 35 dollar yearly fee will be spending their time complaining that others are willing to pay to have fun.
it's on PC. If a gamer wanted it so much, they would go and buy the console it's on or upgrade their rig. stop waiting.
360 has oblivion as well. and why haven't you listed fallout 3?
Belonging to a certain genre doesn't make it better. By your logic, the first Mass Effect was better any other non-RPG game because it's an RPG. Mass Effect 2 did a lot more things right, and ran smoother. And also, it's still an RPG.
It's an RPG, dude. Upgradeable armor, upgradeable weapons, character leveling, party building, sidequests, main quests, inventory system.
It's a fucking RPG. I don't understand this. People find ways to nitpick a game. I wouldn't say anything, but I hear mostly the PS3 side on this site muttering that the game is great but not an RPG. I've played the game for about 15 hours. It's an RPG. It's as much an RPG that Kotor was.
Demon's Souls has everything but the fun factor. If a game makes you smash your controller up against the wall, the developers went too far. D
"The recent pricing of Kinect reminded me of the first time I saw the tech in action. It put a real lump in my throat and left me feeling like the future had finally arrived."
Idiot.
I didn't like Dead Space: Downfall very much. There were some major discrepancies between the animated film and how the events are played out in the game's video diaries.
Also, the protagonist Alyssa Vincent got on my nerves.
I haven't seen too many people camping. I camp more than most people but even I traverse the map several times to get better weapons and more ammo. The worst camping map is The Fort but even there people are forced to move at some point.
As for grenades, I've killed several people by just throwing grenades at them. Is that what you consider a problem? Because it feels fine to me.
Reported as spam for repeating the same post several days in a row. On a side note, it's nice to see you've minimized your sentences so that you actually sound somewhat coherent. I weep for the fall of the education system.
Hey man, I was just responding to trounbyfire's assertion using the same source he used. What do you want me to do if VGChartz is the only source to go by?
And I couldn't care less about 360 software sells declining. Halo Reach is coming out. Do I give a shit if some other studio's mediocre game doesn't sell well?
with that semicolon, end parentheses, he's indicating that he's shedding a tear because nobody gives a shit what he has to say. that or someone just jizzed in his face.
Movement seems a little clunky compared to UC2 MP. Still a fun-looking game, but I'll have to get used to it.
My blood pressure shot up when I noticed the player wasn't getting all of the bubbles.
Prologue has more content than all demos and some full games. Besides, they sold it for 40 bucks, not full price. Stop dicking around. Nobody said anything stupid on this thread until you came along.
Whenever someone comes up with an innovation or seemingly original idea, and if said idea works and is acclaimed, many other developers will incorporate that idea into their games because they feel like if they don't their games will be criticized. Then, someone on the internet goes, "Hey, that's cliché." It may be cliche, but there's a reason why it's a standard. If I played a shooter that didn't have exploding barrels or some similar mechanic, I'd t...
kneon, in no way is an SPU the same as a core. An SPU is a DSP.
