Perhaps MS should consider licensing the tech to a Japanese company, similar to Sega Saturn/Hitachi back in the 90's. And I am sure those who truly believe the Japanese gamer have a dislike for Xbox has nothing to do with it being a western console, since Japanese companies have themselves said they are more focused on western markets than ever before.
Its shortsighted to even think that Japanese dislike western influenced products...Japanese love American culture.
Best for me is TLOU (PS3) and worst is a tie breaker between that awful DRM issue and the terrible 2DS console. That is a terrible, terrible design. Bring back Wonderswan lol:p

It's my understanding that any developer can utilize X amount of ram if little or no optimization is done. So it's a moot point.
A free game such as Monster Hunter could help, and definitely redesign the Xbox One and make it smaller for a start. Japanese peoples homes are generally quite small. The XB1 will look way too big.
I have to agree that the Japanese are pretty cold on the Xbox brand, and not because it's American, because Apple products do well in that region.
This game is not amazing by any means, but I would still like to play it on my future ps4. I love Zombie games, even if some believe they are over done.
With an install base of over 80 Million consoles, the smart money is that this should appear on PS3. Unfortunately, not all money is smart....still, it's encouraging that TLG is still in the pipeline.
I suspect a PS4 port later down the line. Maybe :/
Love or hate the Wii U, there is room in the market for all 3 platforms to thrive. As a Gamer, I don't want any established brand to fail. Nintendo are pioneers of gaming, with a rich heritage. Without Nintendo I probably wouldn't have had my PS's, and the Xbox brand may not have existed.
Wii U is not their best (Snes) console by far, but without Ninty the landscape would be very different indeed.

Very doubtful, TLOU is amazing from start to finish. I never encountered a single issue with the game. Sorry I just don't believe a word of this. ND never made a bad game....ever!!

It's cringe worthy if the motive is exclusivity, whether that's timed or not. This game must come to all capable platforms!!
Of course you'll mostly see Indie games, the PS4 just launched and the retail games are all launch titles....just what are you expecting??
The PS4 has literally been available little over 1 month in EU and slightly longer in US.

Dammit, just found out Bioshock Infinite's US only, EU gets Borderlands 2 (which I have already) instead ;/
Still, DMC alone is worth the sub, so can't really grumble. Hope PS Plus gets Tomb Raider within the next few months :)

Why you got a disagree I will never know. You're absolutely correct. PS3 has shown what can be achieved (visually) with only 256mb of video ram.
...People tend to forget the console has significantly less overhead than that of PC's.
