PS4 is my next console of choice, but I want the games I want to play to come out first.
Not buying a new console just for the sake of having a new console.
PS3 is still killing it with games..PS4's new and I don't mind waiting ;/

Alan Wake is another MS Studios unoriginal/copied concept.
Siren - Blood Curse (PS3 2008) did the whole episodic TV show thing way before Remedy even received the green light from MS for Alan Wake (360 2010). Don't get me wrong Alan Wake is a decent game, I completed it. But it's just another example of MS lack of innovation. MS are reluctant to try new things, 7 Halo games compared to 3 Uncharted Games?

I'd say it does matter when you're considering dropping $50+ on a game.
Since you mentioned 'Celebrity', I'll wager more people know who Lara Croft is than they know who you are.
Lara is a 'Virtual Celebrity'.
The PS3/360 Lara looked more vulnerable and innocent IMO. I don't really like video characters to look too human. I play games for the illusion, not for exact real life representations of a world I already know. Sometimes the 'Uncanny Valley' actually takes away from the experience and loses something in the process for me.
The best example's are Ellie from TLOU, and that wonderfully realised girl from Bioshock Infinite. Both female leads look believable enoug...

TLOU' star is Ellie and rightly so! ..TLOU wouldn't be the same game without Ellie. Ellie is one of the best videogame representations of a female character in the history of this medium.

Sony can use PS Now to promote migration from PS3 to PS4 by allowing trials/demo's of PS4 games.
It's even possible PS3 can now play PS4 games via PS Now, but that would harm PS4 sales.
PS3's life has been extended massively with PS Now technology :)

Why not buy GT6?
It may not look as good as Forza 5...but content wise, it's the best racer of 2013/2014 and proves the PS3 has plenty of mileage left.

Yes, I agree. Sony seem to be consolidating its assets. All Sony products will soon communicate with each other where applicable and become part of the 'Sony Family'. It's Kaz Harai' new direction for the company going forward. But, it's such common sense, you have to be surprised it never occurred before?
Truthfully, as much as I want Sony to succeed, I don't want the others to fail either. Because the competitors keep Sony on their toes, we the game...
Do I come across as game bashing? If so, I'm sorry. I actually liked Forza 5, it's just Forza 3/4 spoiled us with so much content on 360, that when I played Forza 5 at a friends for the weekend, it just seemed like a lot less.
I noticed the rent car thingie which I didn't like, because it seemed deliberately implemented to slow progress in the hope that you will pay to unlock cars, and a lot less tracks than any Forza.
Forza 5 is still a wow game...
