I can see Gone Home fitting PSN nicely as downloadable alternative title. Whether the majority like the game or not, there's clearly a market for it.
Sony PS have been pretty good at accommodating different groups of people, such as Females, Males, Young and Older gamers.
I can see Gone Home appealing to many people. I'm not against it :)

Do not underestimate MS. They excel at marketing, and we all know people are gullible as F. A few adverts later, and the odd significant paid for exclusive, and suddenly everyone's interested in Xbox One again.

That's been my whole thing about MS...
Whilst I loath them as a corporation, I can't extend that to Xbox, because I personally have no problem with the Xbox console itself...just those damned MS practises.
If the Xbox One is a disappointment, then we're a few years too premature.

The Wii U is a product/service like any other. If someone more capable than Iwata can relay the value and benefit of purchasing a Wii U, then how can that not save it?

Sorry, but how could you think Xbox One will only max at 40-60 mil? XB1 can at least repeat 360's lifetime sales at around 75-85 mil or more.
It's possible for PS4 to achieve 100-120 mil or more, but this would be PS2 levels of success, and I personally believe PS2 will retain G.O.A.T in modern console sales.
Wii U is a difficult one, I would guess 30 mil max, unless something unimaginable happens in N...

I'm a PS3 user and I agree the Cell was alien to many developers, the learning curve was ridiculously steep. Even Sony engineers stated so.
The main problem with Skyrim was the way PS3 Ram was designed, the 360's was more in line with PC development. That's why Gaby Newell called Sony out in the early days.
Had PS3 been more developer friendly, we would have had Uncharted 2 and The Last of Us quality ga...

If I had the funds..I would unreservedly have both PS4 & Xbox One sitting proudly next to each other. But alas, I am but a modest earner.

Yeh me too, I missed out on the 80's programming scene. Everyone was learning to make their own games with something called 'Basic' & 'C+' languages. Many found success, many didn't.
I would love for Sony to allow this on PS4 too...Maybe submit the game onto PSN/Live and make a few quid in the process :)
