I don't care whether Xbox Live or PS+ would have been required for this game....'Cos I'm not paying £14.99 per month to play what amounts to 'Skyrim' online.
They should have made the game download free, then sub us...but no, Bethesda wants £55 on top of that.
For 1 years service+Game PS4 = £234.88
For Xbox add average UK Xbox Live £39.99 total = £274.87
Both look like a rip off to me? ;/
Why are you here if you've had enough? You go play your games if you want to. I'm using N4G at the moment...but thanks for your concern ;/
Going by the Digital Foundry comparison I saw on youtube last night. You will see the differences clear enough.
To save you the time.....
Xbox One frequently dips to around 26fps in busy scenes, and maintains 30fps for most of the comparison. Whereas PS4 dips to around 45-60fps depending on how busy scenes are. PS4 seemed to maintain 60fps for most of the comparison.
Go see it for yourself, and if you're still in denial you're just a ...
Gears can work in any genre...Like what?
Oh No! not another RTS isometric viewed strategy war game? ..Surely MS wouldn't milk that hard. No for a Halo Wars type Gears game. MS sure know how to mess up, if they did that.
Never say Never ....
It feels butter smooth to play and the textures are way better. The only disappointing thing is the character models...
Only Lara has had extra attention. They didn't even bother to re-model the NPC's, which are still PS3 quality.
I purchased TR on PS3 (for just £15) which is already excellent. It's really not worth a £50 re-purchase just for some nice hair physics and sharper visuals. But for first timers, you're in for a treat!
It's time for Gears to go 'Open World'...and some air/space battles too pls :)
Here comes the Boooom!
Nice acquisition for MS, good news for Xbox One gamers.
Demonstrates MS are putting more emphasis on Games!...which is all we ever wanted :)
I don't think this is an official price cut, but it should be. The XB1 is seriously overpriced for what you're getting.
If you're just into games, XB1 is a terrible deal next to the PS4 and maybe the incoming Steam offerings.
I can't help feeling MS could have shifted an extra 500,000 - 1 Mil units if they had sold the Xbox One for $349 or no more than $399.
Why?
The article isn't about Vita, it's about Wii U.
I'm glad this is a former Sony employee, as it would be pretty unprofessional to make this type of comment.
oooh I wonder what it is???
Gears or Crackdown or something else. Exciting!!
We knew Sony had financial difficulties years ago...I'm sure they have been here before.
PS4 will revitalise Sony and it's other products...Look at Apple, until early 2K, who was bothered about Apple products?
Now look at them.
Sometimes you gotta bite the bullet...no point releasing a game as hyped as Watchdogs to disappointment. Same for Driveclub :)
Well Troy or Delsin or whoever....Infamous SS is on my list :)
Driveclub, Infamous SS, Watch Dogs, Witcher 3, The Order, Mariokart 8, Bayonetta 2, Halo 5, Dark Souls II and...TLOU DLC!!
2014 Looks promising...I mostly look forward to the resurgence of Survival Horror.
I'm also keeping track of 'DayZ'. Here's hoping for a PS4/Xbox One announcement once it's out of beta stage.
You rock!!! ......
so hard educating those without a G.E.D
@ALLWRONG....and what you've typed really is!
Movie Studios, and general TV/App/Music have far more security implemented than Games. THIS IS NOT THE SAME DRM! ..and if it's 'well known', it'll be nothing we haven't experienced before.
It'll be exactly the same on Xbox One, Or any legitimate Device for that matter, because the license demands it. So UR-ALL-WRONG!
This DRM thing is common place for 'Multimedia...
@SprigganN4G
When you get a PS4 development kit and start making 5x better than PS3 games...
Maybe people will take you more seriously ;/
WoW!!!
Sunset Overdrive looking better than E3 CGI!!
I've had my peepers on this game...looks maaad fun!!
