There's just so much positivity for PS4 at the moment. It's nothing like last (PS3) gen launch. Amazes me how much the tables have turned this gen.
Seems there are lots of articles regarding the higher quality multiplats on PS4, TR being the latest.
So I decided to do some research yesterday regarding Xbox One framerates to find out for myself. To my dismay, I found on Digital Foundry that the Xbox One games running at 30fps, frequently dip below at around 22-24fps. Did MS make a 360.5?
One example being Dead Rising 3, that struggles even in cutscenes? This even after the 13GB patch?? What kind of a gap ...
Titan Fall is meant to be the next bes thing in FPS' ...but all I'm seeing lately are apologist and justification articles.
Ever since the 6 vs 6 MP announcement, it's all gone a bit negative.
Titan Fall could be everything Respawn promised or not. Fingers crossed.
It basically means this option isn't available for PS3/4 'yet'...suggesting it's in the pipeline.
So almost 1 million units out of that 3 plus million MS confirmed they had sold turns out to be around 2 million sold to actual consumers.
Some say that it doesn't matter as MS have made their money sold to retail. But, those 900,000 Xbox Ones are not selling games because no one has picked them up yet.
It just seem like MS are lying again!!! ...Can't believe a word MS says, they keep shooting themselves in the Butt!!!
Why does this remind me of all the news stories of yesteryear when PS3 was young and it's games were scrutinised when compared to Xbox 360 multiplats.
Seems like a complete role reversal....who'd have expected that??

Xbox One is a capable machine and you're absolutely right, the Xbox One does do more than PS4...but not if were discussing games.

You maybe right, and 25 years gaming is not to be sniffed at....I just don't want to build an expectation for myself that may or may not leave me disappointed.

2014 is going to be full of AAA releases from Sept-Dec, so we shall see whether Uncharted 4 releases this year won't we?...If I am wrong then that's a good thing as we all get to enjoy U4 this year, and ...

I agree...and since when did anyone on N4G know better than the developers.
As far as I know, Yakuza developers are not owned nor tied to Sony, so why would they exaggerate?
It's laughable that people who only play consoles, seem to think they know as much or more than the developers who create the games??
