I don't disagree in principle but consider that some people might want to focus on learning the ins and outs of it without having to also come up with their whole set of IP characters to work with. Similar to fanfiction - it is a good platform for people to sharpen their writing skills without having to also have to invent new creative characters (which takes effort and work, and they may not even be likable).
lol. Completely agree. Wow, gamers are an over-dramatic bunch. Microsoft had a flop of a console release followed by poor international marketing. Not sure how anyone conflates that with "sinning".
It has to do with the delivery system for the updated game. It would be like popping in GTA5 360 disc in your XBox One and it being automatically upgraded to the XBox One version of the game. It is CD Projekt's decision to use Microsoft's feature for this.
They could re-invent themselves as a retro gaming store, but they have such a bad rep when it comes to used games I doubt their reputation could ever be recovered.

I played through the first Act this weekend on the XBox 360 version. Really tempted to get this, because wow - it was super blurry last gen, like it looks <720p a lot of the time but manages to keep the frame rate up. At the same time, I already have this on 360 and Bayonetta on Switch so I'm doing everything I can to resist paying again just to have better graphics.

It had a really large collection of games that haven't really made it onto any other system except for the original Wii that had backwards compatibility. It is also a relatively easy system to make and play backups off of an SD card. Also, there is the Gameboy Advanced hookup that will play original Gameboy games as well as GBA games. It has a digital out port that can provide a better 480p signal via an HDMI adapter (albeit, and expensive one) than can be provided via component cables. I...
Used GameCube games are at a crazy high premium right now. If you want the good ones with a case and manual you are looking at $40 - $50 unless you get lucky at a thrift store or garage sale.
That being said, one nice thing about the GameCube is there is a solution to reading "ahem" backup games from SD card and playing them that doesn't require any alteration of the hardware.
If I have never played the game at 60 fps, then 30 fps doesn't bother me too much. Once I've played at 60 fps, 30 fps feels like a slideshow. I think for me it is most important to have solid frame rates. I would rather have a solid 30 fps than a 60 fps that occasionally drops down to 30 fps (Link's Awakening, I'm looking at you).
Umm, no @XB1ps4. 30 fps is like a slide show compared to 60 fps and for games that require fast response time from me, I'll take 60fps at 1080p over 30fps at 4k any day of the week. And, yes I have a very nice 4k HDTV which shouldn't surprise anyone today.

You just have to "claim" it from the store within those time frames so it doesn't matter that much to people who are interested, but I agree it is kinda weird.
