Totally agree. Besides, how many good new bands were created between 2000-2005? I can only think of one: Mute Math.
Music just isn't the same as it used to be, man.
I was referring to the fact that, in the article, it said that they were originally considered flops. In response to your post was just a perfect opportunity to make my post.
Boom Blox's over 450,000 in sales (450,000 is from launch until July 29th's figures) is a flop? Wow, I never knew.
I agree, TheFreak. It's a damn shame the GAMRR kids of nowadays.
I found Metroid Prime 3 was a bit stale too. I absolutely loved the first one, and the second one had awesome boss fights (and some neat creatures, but it was a bit tedious having to go through the different worlds). Metroid Prime 1's atmosphere was absolutely awesome, but Metroid Prime 3 just felt... meh. The atmosphere was still special, and detailed, but didn't really interest me, like the first one did.
Playing the first Metroid Prime was one of my most favorite gaming experi...
Animal Crossing will do famously, unfortunately. It's a quality example of rehash.
Hopefully they improve the online. It's really a major hassle to the Wii.
HELL YES! Instabuy! Hope there's more multiplayer options this time. The last game had a TON, but it still did not satisfy my hunger, haha.
I'm not losing faith at all. In fact, my faith is building. 2009 is gonna be amazing for the Wii. And I, personally, am getting three Wii games around Christmas time that I'm hyped about (Wario Land, de Blob, and ToS2). Then you have games like Little King's Story, The Conduit, MadWorld, and Muramasa: Demon Blade coming out. I can't wait.
Holy sh*t. That surprised the hell out of me. I thought, despite what everyone was saying (I dismissed them all as hardcore Castlevania fans), that this game was actually gonna be good. Damn shame, it looked pretty and sounded like the creator really took a passion in it.
I agree. Nintendo's attitude towards 3rd party developers has always been a problem. I think that ended when the old president quit and Iwata took his place, though. By the sounds of it they're getting back on track. Every WiiWare developer I've heard of said that Nintendo is EXTREMELY helpful and awesome. And then The Conduit says that they're working really close with Nintendo. Leads me to believe they changed their old ways.

Damn a month-old interview? What took so long?
I'm really looking forward to this game.
Rock Revolution on the Wii comes out in November. No wonder it only sold 2 copies. Hurray for misleading news stories!
All in all, I hope the Wii version only sells two copies anyways. But we all know that's impossible.
National Geographic is an amazing magazine. It's informative, interesting, and beautiful. Unfortunately, I don't think their games will turn out the same. Please prove me wrong, National Geographic! You have the ability to do GREAT things.
Games aren't difficult nowadays. I found Megaman 9 more difficult than the other Megaman games though (except Megaman 7's Wily. UGH). It was a great, refreshing experience. Fun as hell. Some games deserve higher difficulties. Platformers and FPSes nowadays are simply far too easy. I desire a bigger challenge. Mercury Meltdown Revolution was great for that.
Sounds good! Garry's Mod, Little Big Planet, and other user-generated content things like BlastWorks are all great ideas. Let's hope Nintendo brings their own magic to this department!
To be frank, I'm getting tired of all of the first-person shooters. Bioshock didn't interest me, and Halo never has. CoD4 did something great, though. I still love the original CoD more though. I also still love the Half-Life series. I hope the Conduit manages to pull off some of that magic.
Wow, what a terrible review. 3 out of 10 graphics-wise? I stopped reading there.
How? How many exclusives does the Xbox 360 have again? And the PS3? Just because some people like to cover their ears and say "la la la, Wii has no games!" doesn't mean it's true.
I really suggest you check out games like Mercury Meltdown Revolution, de Blob, and Geometry Wars Galaxies, for example.
Also, it's not fair to say "how many good games does the Wii have that aren't spin-offs, again?" after naming non-exclusive games and games for both t...
Dengue Fever... I'll give them a listen. Thanks!
