ITT: people who don't understand that Nintendo doesn't make every Wii game ever, and that the Nintendo Seal of Quality doesn't really mean anything, and never did.
The most popular console always gets a ton of shovelware. Fact. It happened with NES, SNES, GB, GBA, PS1, and PS2. Now it's happening with Wii. See a pattern? They all were the most popular consoles at the time.
Oh man, that's awesome, I can't wait. I love a bit of challenge :D
I hope it's not unfair though... the idea of time limits doesn't sound too great... and I hope that we'll be able to repeat those sets of "3 levels with only 3 lives" with continues or something.
This guy's lists are great. He pretty much nailed it again, but it's unfortunate that Mercury Meltdown Revolution didn't make this list (although it did make another one of his lists!)
I have 4/5 of those games, they're all great, to say the least. I played Super Paper Mario and didn't like it, so that's the only reason I didn't buy it.
Mad World has also now sold enough to be mildly profitable. It's up to like 300k or something now, I think. Remember, on the Wii you don't need 1 million sales to be profitable.
But yeah, it's doing good at 300k. I bought it at full price the week it came out, and I regret it. If 360 and PS3 owners should be jealous of any games, they should be Little King's Story, de Blob, Muramasa, etc. Those are all way better games than Mad World.
Awesome, can't wait to hear what it is :D
I'm calling an Ice Climbers sequel right now!
I'd have to say no... as we haven't seen anything about the game besides concept art.
Doubtful. Especially when the game is tailored around the idea of painting. The game sounds completely suited to the precision of the Wiimote.
Perhaps they need truly epic games. Games with replayability, and a huge scope, and stuff. Not just short, arcade-style romps. The Conduit had potential to be a game like that, but it was so severely underpolished and lacking an art direction.
"He copied Ratchet and now he is copying LBP "
THIS IS WHAT FANBOYS ACTUALLY BELIEVE.
"4 players side scrolling platform game - cooperative - competitive.
Note: this is the first Mario game which can be played by many players at same time. "
Uh, actually, there was a competitive mode on New Super Mario Bros DS where you could pick between 5 (looping) stages. You and your friend would race to see who could get a certain nu...
Because it's fun? :3
"Allow me now to turn your world upside down, as mine was.
Ice flower. Ice flower.
I know, right? How did it take so long for them to come up with that? "
...What kind of moron gaming journalist has never played Super Mario Galaxy?
Interesting. She seems to have more taste than most 7 year old girls who just want Petz and Hannah Montana. Rock on.
Please note that this is a RECONFIRMATION on Game Informer's part. This should put the "Epic Mickey" multiplat rumors to rest. This is new info... not a duplicate.
Holy crap. What a way to release a game. Announce it the day before it's gonna be released.
Hard gameplay? Awesome. As hard as Contra? Sincerely doubtful.
@2.3
You mean like every company?
Sounds awesome. I hope lots of love, care, and talent is put into this game.
Wow, wasn't expecting much from this guide, but the guy absolutely NAILED it!
All are fantastic games. I'm very happy about the inclusion of Mercury Meltdown Revolution and Geoemtry Wars: Galaxies.
Man, I'm glad I don't have such terrible tastes in gaming as you.
Hahaha, what a nut. That's awesome... so eccentric.
