Awesome news! They deserve it.
Man, I can't wait for this game. I loved getting my ass kicked by Mega Man 9, and then 100%ing it, in-game challenges and all. I'm gonna do the same with this game :D Finally a tough game!
Ahh, this article is much better than that "Nintendo Wii Sales Sink, Gamers Want Worse Games" article that was posted earlier.
I kind of want to get WSR because I've heard from a lot of people that it's a very fun game... at the same time, I've heard from like the same number of people that it's really not that great. Still, I feel as though my collection is missing something by not having that game, but I don't want to spend money on it! And I don't think the game has enough gameplay to keep me coming back...
sigh.
Smart people go with PC + Wii. That way they can enjoy almost all of the games in your list, and great Wii exclusives. The addition of a PS3 would also be fantastic, but... I just can't figure out why anyone would want a 360. Halo 3? Halo Recon? Fable 2? I can't think of anything else... and none of those games really interest me.
You guys sound pretty butthurt D:
We're not throwing a fit over a name change. We're throwing a fit over the fact that we're getting a down-grade port of an old game the same time its sequel is coming out, when we should be getting the sequel instead. It's a plain disservice to Wii owners, and yet I remember when Activision was talking about this port, they were acting like Wii owners owed them a "thank you."
@ Seferoth: I don't know why you got so many disagrees. You're making perfect sense.
"Reflex edition"? Goddamn, I didn't think that it was possible for them to make this port any stupider. Congrats on the success, Activision. I hope nobody buys this game.
I kind of agree, to be honest. But SMB2 is a bit different... IWBTG kills players a lot of the time by springing surprise traps on them... stuff players would not know about unless they were already killed by it. SMB2 isn't quite the same.
Goddammit, quote taken out of context. They say it's "one of the hardest in the series" not "THE hardest in the series." That goes to Super Mario Bros 2.
A Bethesda game being unplayable by a large number of people? Get out! When has that ever happened!?
Listen, I loved Morrowind, but come on... these guys have seriously got to get their act together and fix the serious, game-breaking, game-destroying, game-rendering-unplayable problems that plague each and every one of their games.
@raztad:
protip: most "adult" women think that gaming, in general, is immature. There's almost no chance a grown-up adult woman would think that Mario is more mature than Ratchet & Clunk or vice-versa because: they're both video games.
@ ape:
What? Rosalina's story is arguably one of the more mature themes in Mario Galaxy. Kids wouldn't just "get that"
@ raztad:
It's pretty obvious you don't have much interaction with girls. Most girls don't care about any video games besides:
Guitar Hero
Rock Band
Mario (pretty much anything Mario)
(SOMETIMES) Sonic
I have a Wii at university, and I always had girls coming over to play Mario. The o...

HAHAHAHA
no.
itt: people who fail to realize the difference between "graphics" and "art style." it's not like the Wii has some sort of special, Wii-only filter that automatically turns dark, twisted graphics into cartoony, colorful graphics, y'know. The concept art is just that -- concept art. The game would've looked the same if it had gone to the PS3/360 instead of the Wii. It just would've had higher resolution and some spiffy effects.
Morgan's comment is everything that's wrong with today's gamers. People used to play video games for fun, and now it seems people play them for "HURR GUNZ I'M MATURE" No surprise, either, she's a GURL GAMURR
Not that you could tell when looking at her gigantic manjaw.
Man, is it sad that I'm most excited for the 2-D platforming segments? They actually look sort of difficult :D
But uh, yeah, not much else to say. Funny hoow Eliot's poem was mentioned. "The Wasteland" is such a pile of vile bile. Influential? I don't know. Pretentious and over-rated? Yep.
Whoah. That's good to see that at least some people are treating the Wii is a serious console, instead of just giving it a rail-shooter and acting like they're owed something.
Maybe less and less people are buying Star Fox games because the last 3 Star Fox games have been terrible.
It should of sold more? The game's not really that good. Better games have sold worse. THOSE are the games that should've sold more.
Saaki, you're a perfect example of today's "hurr hardcore gamur" Hype > actual quality (according to you and your type, I mean)
