I don't like your attitude. Not Sony nor Microsoft have began making profit off the next-gen systems. This means that although Microsoft had a head start, they still not benefiting from it. The PS2 was way more profitable than the Xbox so that pretty much overrides the Xbox360 head start. Those figures that ktchong gave is for the company as a whole and not only the games division. There is nothing wrong with those figures that ktchong gave. If you can't handle it, just walk away. =/
The reason why the RROD happens is because the motherboard is overheating, causing it to bend which breaks the soldering points on the board. They are going to fix this buy applying better heat sinks and the new 65nm chips. Mystery explained :)
All thats dissapointing about the Xbox is it's reliability, which they are currently fixing. 2 Year warranty is great. If you buy a Xbox360, you are guarenteed to be gaming on it for 2 years, which is great imo. The games are great, Xbox Live is great, what else is dissapointing?
Beware that some multiplatform games looks better on the Xbox360. Not irrationally bashing the PS3 here but I have seen a whole lot of comparisons where the Xbox360 came on top like The Darkness, Call of Duty 3, Fear, ect. I don't have both consoles so I personally can't judge but that seems to be the general concensus. Hopefully Dirt will look better since the developers said so.

Maybe not convincingly but the Xbox360 is still ahead in the UK.
Remember that the Xbox360 is outselling the PS3 convincingly in the UK as well so I guess the PS3 isn't selling that well outside of Japan.
America is to Xbox360 as Japan is to PS3

POG, before E3 this site was almost bearable but now it is completely overrun by fanboys. No matter how many you ignore, there are always new fanboys. It's okay if people present their arguments with facts and sense but thats not the case here. It's like two 6 year olds shouting "My dad can beat up your dad!" at each other. nothing is proven yet. Killzone 2 is looking very impressive but it's not released yet. There is still no evidence that the PS3 is ahead of the Xbox360 graphics wise. There are also unreleased Xbox360 games that look very impressive. But when KZ2 and MGS4 is released and it is miles ahead of anything on the Xbox360, then you can say PS3 is a superior machine, but until then, keep your assumptions to yourself.

but it seems that it's your own fault. The thing is, if you buy a Xbox360, you are guarenteed to have a console for 3 years without paying a cent for repairs. That seems like a fair deal to me.
I enjoyed COD3 immensely. If you enjoyed COD2, I would recommend getting COD3 immediately :)
that violent video games do not make children violent. If there are 10 million people playing a violent video game and 5 people of that 10 million commits violent crime and shoots up schools, can we blame the video game? There isn't any concrete evedence that violent video games = violent teenagers. Just my 2 cents
