There is also a lot of people who are "experts" on game development that seem to know more about developing MGS4 than the actual development team.
A thing that I'm certain of is that we don't know if MGS4 is coming to Xbox360 or not, regardless what any fanboy on this site is saying because no one said it will never come to Xbox360.
A lot of damage control by PS3 fanboys
Can you guys remember what happened last time the PS3 dropped it's price? It outsold the Xbox360 for one or two weeks although everybody predicted doom for the Xbox360 than soon after the price cut it returned to it's usual numbers. Just think about that
I don't think we can label any company as desperate because of a price cut because there is a lot information we don't have. Maybe the production costs went down a lot and they can stil maintain the same cost/sell ratio, who knows.
Wasn't the original Saints Row on the Xbox360? Judging by your avitar, you don't like the xbox360, what's up?
No news is good news I'm afraid...
Wow, I'm honored that my post provoked you to write a 6 paragraph post.
"Are you trying to tell me that something that has the inherent potential of failure actually IS irrelevant?"
What I was actualy trying to say was the failure rate was 33%, not 100%. The RROD is relevent but not as relevent as the PS3 camp makes it out to be.
"Do you think NASA would launch space-shuttles if there was a particular part they they knew could fail?"
...
You got a link to some hard evidence? I would like to see it.
*edit
not all the Halo3 SE boxes have falcons
There is nothing wrong with Mwaan's logic, it's your logic thats wrong. It doesn't matter what the actual hardware problem is or that "Every 360 is a potential RRoD". What it comes down to is that 33% failed, it is as simple as that, not 100%. The only people that is brainwashed are you and sony trolls thats desperately hoping that the RROD is the end of the Xbox360, I just think that you can't handle the fact that the Xbox360 is outselling the PS3, RROD and all.
I don't hate...
PS3 trolls are grasping at ammunition against the Xbox360. The RROD is bad but if you want proof of how realy bad it is, just look at the sales, and the sales isn't bad, it's doing better than the PS3. It doesn't matter what people say, it's about what the sales figures say.
"you guys that constantly defend MS don't realize you're not helping anything."
Like you defend the PS3.
"when they launch a new console in two years because of all the issues with the 360, you'll be right there waiting in line three weeks before launch."
You know why? Because we had a great experience with the previous itteration, RROD an all.
"MS fanboys defend 360 hardware issues, THERE IS NO DEFENSE."
Actualy...
No they can't. can you please give a link to an article that states that the RSX and CPU of the PS3 can share memory pools?
"Every time there is even a hint of developer trouble with disc space, no matter how small, the XBOX Damage Control Defense force comes to the rescue"
Isn't your post exactly as you describe it - Damge control? don't you think that each time a port is worse on the PS3 the PS3 defence force comes to the rescue with "Developers are Lazy" and "Just wait till next year" comments?
The RSX is locked at 256 and the CPU is also locked at 256, they can't use each others ram.
so by following your logic, they can put Assasins creed on a PS1 with the same frame rate as PS3, they just need more development time?
The comment you made is absolutely laughable!
The difference is that the Xbox360 can divide the ram between the CPU and GPU as they want, the PS3 is locked at 256 for CPU and 256 for GPU.
Lame attempt to start a flame war, grow up
"But thats why I'm going to be a programmer, lots more money with 1/2 the amount of work!"
I think you are going to be suprised
I think you should first make sure what a AAA title is before claiming it is one
Thanks for your oppinion but it means nothing. Not until I hear a resounding "NO! It won't come to Xbox360".
Gabe Newel hates the PS3 but orange box came out on the PS3. Sometimes it isn't up to the developers but to the publishers.
One thing about software development is that ANYTHING is possible. There is alway a solution to any problem. The thing is that PS3 supporters don't want to see the solution.
