C'mon, the NES original is one of the best games ever made, and the difficulty when you get to the second car onwards was BRUTAL. Would be interesting to see a new take on that series. That game online would be crazy.

Do you honestly only play exclusives? I mean, quite a large number of people like games that are not exclusive as well. CoD being an obvious one, lets not forget the best selling game on PS3 above the Uncharteds and the Gran Turismo, and the LBP, etc. Music games as well do not have any exclusive titles.
And not to mention sports games like NBA 2k and FIFA.
Unless you own your console ONLY for exclusives, which in that case you must not play quite a few genre...
never in the history of the franchise has it been outsold by a FPS. Only notable game to outsell GT has been GTA.
But this gen, it seems things are changing. Will GT5 surpass Halo3 or even the PS3 versions of MW2 and BO? Its the only genre left to contest the top spot seeing as GTA has been surpassed.

If you give it a ten its just a license for developers to start doing the whole premium standard thing with all their games. NBA games with premium teams and standard teams. FPS's with premium guns and standard guns. Fighters with premium characters and standard charaters.
Great game, but I think giving it a perfect score may send out the wrong message. Lets have games with the same development effort across the board and not just 20% of it shall we?

I get that KZ fans like that game more, but its a niche product that has a "uniwue" control scheme and appeals to its fans. But once a game appeals to its fans, that's good enough isn't it. It just so happens that CoD has about 4 times as many fans.

Track is more realistic in Forza. Especially when you compare it to an onboard from real life you see how much trackside details are missing or wrong in GT5 for this circuit. For example, on the run to the corkscrew the tyre barriers on the left side are wrong in GT5, they start too far down and they don't transition to the double row as in real life. Forza has this. A

I don't think its fair to compare Halo to KZ. One is established the other is still in a niche of loyal rabid fans. Outside of the PS3 dedicated fanbase, nobody really knows anything about Killzone. GG purposely made the game inaccessible and hence for that reason it will remain a niche product. it will hover around the 2-3 million mark, which isn't bad. But nowhere near the popularity of Halo or CoD.

The PS2 launched AFTER the dreamcast and was priced HIGHER but mopped up the competition, even when having to deal with the dot com bubble that crashed the economy in late 2000.
The PS3 launches after the 360, a successor to a system that PS2 had DECIMATED month in month out in the US market, and just can't get close.
Its not the US people buying american, cause if that was true, they would have bought the 1st xbox ...
Sorry guys, but killzone is a niche franchise. To the people that play it its the greatest ever. But to the masses, it just sin't up there with halo and CoD.

Honestly I'm surprised it took devs so long to put this in all their games. Halo:CE way back in 2001 pretty much confirmed without a doubt how much fun split screen campaign is.....why some devs took so long to grasp that is beyond me. looking forward to this with the new responsive controls.
Sony had me thinking that AC:brotherhood was a PS3 exclusive though. i was watching south park and saw the ad about 4 times and it had the PS logo and everything.
