Now their's an idea to actually sell Natal
Call it Natal-Halo project. lmfao.
They know that they will make money off these games so they rushed to release them. But in reality they aren't very different from their predecessors at all. They are both just cash ins to make money, reviewers are just playing it safe because they know these games are going to be popular.
Their is, however, a difference between a good game and a popular game. Halo and MW2 will not receive GotY because they haven't really brought anything new to the table.
Well if this is the best of the best, I think I'm officially burnt out on fps. It seems to me that cod4 and halo3 were the peek of the genre. Now these games seem like more of the same to me as they are released. I don't know if any more innovation can come from the genre, I'm not going to be re-purchase rehashed material that has all been done before.
Fair point, I think we are seeing a lot of users that want to see both these types of comments.
But I will say this, I think this stems from Valves smack talking. PS3 users are pissed, and 360 owners are buying into valves excuses. I think Xi had a good point of what is really going on, but that still doesn't excuse Valve's attitude towards the PS3.
"Yeah Teh Power of the 360"
true, but if only those toasters could also run video games.
I think that there are some people on here today that would prefer you just to say "Valve doesn't develop for the PS3 because the PS3 sucks".
No appreciation for meaningful discussion apparently.
EA has a strong desire to make ALL their games multi platform. In the minds of EA executives supporting just one console is an old way of doing business. Bioware has been very positive about transitioning from being xbox exclusive developer to becoming a multi platform developer.
If you compare Bioware's attitude versus Valve's attitude you'd see that Bioware is a much more progressive unit.
L4D2 is a joke, actually Valve is just a joke in general.
Call of duty is going to replace Halo as "the shooter" - We finally have a true Halo killer here.
It is very interesting how much the comparisons differ. It also explains why I don't care about seeing these websites giving comparisons. There is just something not to trust.
The first modern warefare looked like clone on both 360 and PS3. Why would they regress now? They are to good of a company to struggle with making games for two consoles. They aren't Valve, so I'd expect quality on their PS3 support, YET AGAIN!!!!!
Well, I guess that some people need to disillusion themselves somehow when their gaming console has a poor line up.
MS is not going to want the truth to get out about PS3 online gaming.
It really isn't. Microsoft is just good at keeping the ILLUSION that it is. Too bad we live in a society (the U.S.) that consumers are willing to buy inflatable barbecues if they see it on t.v. MS knows this all too well. Unfortunately they don't worry as much about actually making quality hardware or to REALLY have a better online experience to back up their claims. All they care about is saying that they do, and consumers buy it up.
I'm done giving money to Valve, maybe then they will get bought out by a company with some class.
"(a guy that looks like a damned pedophile), "
Ah, it all make sense now. Now I know why valve support the younger xbox live crowd.
I can see that Valve has not learned it's lesson from Turn 10.
MS developers = way ahead of ps3 developers in sh!t talking and turning away new users. I will not support these low class bottom feeding techniques.
what does the 360 dandruff community have to do with anything.
I will concede my previous statement and props to you for those catches.
You proved that this is one oddly constructed article.
sales >TOP< 1.8 Million
1,800,001? Who know, but it's obviously rounded to be close. Tops means nothing to me.
U.S. sales 2,260,000 vs. 1,520,000
this is a big difference to me.
I'll give you credit for the missing counties although Halo is not very big outside the U.S. so I'm not expecting to see that big of an increase. The exact sales fugues are obviously skewed but I think it's safe to say MS lied about the 2 million sales in 2 days.
Though I agree with you that MS should not have released hardware with such a massive failure rate. I think that the rrod epidemic should be common knowledge by now.
Frankly speaking, I don't encourage this spreading of retarding lawsuits. Our society is beginning to sound like it is filled with whinny b*tch's.
Ahh, you just ruined the whole story. Now its not even worth reading this book.
