I'd make his dumb self put a sledgehammer through his beloved Xbox, and then spend the next few months earning it back by doing things useful with his life at some point each day.
While I agree, I think that this actually segregates them more than anything. I've never, ever heard of a gay gamer not being accepted at any convention, which makes me question the reasoning behind the event -- is this convention going to be focused more on sex than gaming?
As long as Nintendo exist, there will still be dedicated handhelds, and they aren't going anywhere anytime soon!
When you rent a game, you have to send it back. With PS Plus, you're paying to use the additional extras of the service -- primarily the cloud game saves and discounts -- and the games are yours to keep, as long as you continue using the service.
Also, if you discontinue your subscription and renew it at a later date, you can reclaim all of those previous PS Plus titles again as well. That's quite a bit different than a rental service.
Well, I've played Brawl to death and back now, and Nintendo isn't giving us a new Smash Bros. anytime soon, so All-Stars it is. It's kinda plain and simple.
Spelunky, Monster Hunter and Vandal Hearts I'll take, but the rest I could careless about.
Yes, according to our last Ouya update, you can play Onlive games straight through the Ouya console.
Yes, and that's a big problem for Android developers. Again, this plays into Ouya's favor, as the specs wont change and the developers don't have to constantly update their games to fit every new phone, and it's ever changing OS.
This past generation of consoles has indeed been great, many of the triple-A titles have been fantastic, but at the same time, the industry's budgets are shrinking, and that's why we're seeing the indie explosion on digital services.
This is the perfect time for a system like Ouya to launch. While some will desire their online multiplayer, it's the new single player indie games that have me excited about Ouya, and pushed me to back the project. Limbo, Super M...
Great article. Disagree on the film grit overlay and Nolan North parts, but that's just my personal opinion.
Nice to see articles where writers actually have something decent objections around here. :)
This is Apple's answer to Ouya!
Some developers have claimed that the Wii U is "slightly more powerful than PS3/360," but others have said otherwise. That's all the facts -- if you can even call it that -- that we currently know at the moment.
A look at the current financial fiasco in the gaming industry will tell you that neither Sony or Microsoft can bring out console that over $500. Not only because the the industry is flooded with more "gaming" systems that ever before, but beca...
I was being facetious. :) But, to be completely honest, I actually don't care what the guy does with his consoles. It doesn't affect me or the industry regardless if he loves them or hates them.
People have a love/hate relationship with all consoles. Heck, people we're dead serious that the 3DS was doomed to fail by now and selling them off by the droves. Did that stop it from flying of store shelves recently? Most certainly not.
My problem is w...
I agree that the father -- to some degree -- might not have realized that the card could be used for DLC/online purchases. The dude could have had a terrible day at work and blew through it without reading the fine details.
But, there's no way that I believe that the kid is innocent. I say this next part out of all seriousness and not a slam on the child, as my wife is a special education teacher: that is, unless the boy has a learning disability, or other reason for not...
Go sell your Vita and shut up. We don't care what you do with your Vita and/or if you're going to buy a Nexus 7.
And stop flame-baiting for hits on N4G!
SO many people don't realize that Cabela's Adventure Camp is an EXTREMELY easy and quick Platinum!
You mean, like my iPhone (which I adore, by the way) that apps crash when swapping between them? Like all mobile devices seem to do after having them for a month or more.
Screw Sony's first party games, bring on the JRPG's and more of the indie/third party titles that are already great and available on Vita -- and not even mentioned in this negative article.
Haha... sorry, but that's just funny! Two words -- Friend Codes.
Great job as always Jim! It's articles like this that keep me coming back to Destructiod!
"It's like racism but with consoles. Awesome job Bethesda."
Haha, that's flippin' hilarious! :)
