As much as I love GT5, at least Turn 10 will give us 100% "premium" cars that look great either in-race, photo mode or replays. Who cares what tech they use to make the cars look good. That's the only thing that irks me with GT5 - 80% "standard" stuff.
It's also interesting to note that at the end of the trailer they use the Top Gear logo. Is it endorsed by TG or will it just feature assets from the show? Should be good.
GT5 will ...
Glad it's not just a trilogy. The more Uncharted the better!
Pachter is a f'ing tool! Talks out of his arse and 99.999999% of the time is wrong. Can I have his job and get paid 100k a year to come up with bulls#$t?
Took me a few frustrating tries thats for sure. I'll admit I looked at YouTube videos for tips and ideas. Then I learned where enemies were and with a bit of luck I got through it.
I still only have 980/1000 because the game glitched me out of finding the last intel. :(
So you're posting in a cod4 related discussion because? o.O
After playing GT5 for a few hours in 3D, I hope developers really don't waste their time on this gimmick. Seriously, I'm sure GT5 could've used the extra effort that went into 3D to make more premium cars.
Glad LBP is leaving it behind. Developers need to concentrate on the gameplay and fun factor 1st and foremost.
That's pretty awesome. Spot on. :)
Such a demanding track.
Fun read and cool being able to see how the series started.
Personally I agree that Most Wanted has been the best in the series. Definitely want to try the new Hot Pursuit as it's made by Criterion.
If only he could send all fanboys to a black hole.
95% of N4G would disappear...
So why are you guys bringing up Forza? How did this discussion turn into yet another Forza bashing?
Back on topic - while I'm loving GT5, I do agree with some points in that review. Specifically the AI. It still follows that blind sheep pattern from previous GT games. Stop in the programmed line of the AI cars and they don't do anything to avoid you. You'd thought Polyphony would've upped that deparment in all the development time.
Menu system...
I lol'd
I have yet to try going in the opposite direction. Don't wanna mess up my chasis.
Adding unnecessary 3D support to make Sony happy.
Personally I was really looking forward to GT5 but 6 or so years in development doesn't show in the final product. The premium cars look fantastic and so do the new tracks with weather effects, but the rest (80%+ of the game) looks like an HD remaster of GT4 C'mon Polyphony! What HAVE you been doing for the past few years?
They should've concentrated on making more premium cars but in a lesser volume. Wou...

I'm sure you can put all that horsepower to good use. ;)
Haha that's a cool little Easter egg. I guess I'll be getting mine in feb. Sucks if your birthday was yesterday.
That would rock! Or at least another entry in the series.
I'm betting on DMC collection HD. seems to be the fad atm.
Sounds wrong to me. Didn't they say the game does a 6-7GB installation? Surely it's bigger than 19gb. Not that the amount of data used matters. Polyphony are probably just smart coders.
Either way, the game's almost here! :D
Here's a good point I remembered - where are the Japanese going to find 6ft of room in their tiny homes? ;)
It's a f#$%ing commercial. Get over it you tree hugging hippies. It's not like the man shot a child in the commercial or something.
I thought I was the only one.
The videos shown are cool and all, but they're hardly "mesmerising" and all those ridiculous words being used. More so when they're low-res off-screen videos. Ugh!
It's awesome how developers have pushed the iDevices to get games like this. EA are ones constantly pushing it further along with Gameloft. (look up Shadow Guardian for their Uncharted clone)
And best of all is when these games go on sale for 99c. Where else can you see that? ;)
