That's like saying PS3 is a failure because it didn't sell as many units or replicate the PS2's success. We know thats not the case.

The ridiculous point of this whole argument is that while yes the 360 is getting old with it's tech, fanboys make it out like games on the system look like Superman 64 on the N64. Games on both systems look great, with slight differences on multi platform games. Yeah same here. It sucks that pre-ordering the ps3 version didn't really net us anything super special as the "exclusive pre-order bonus" stuff will be available to download less than a month later. I could've saved money by not pre-ordering and could've put it towards this DLC package once psn was back up. :-\

We have those official colours, sans transparency, here is Australia. According to Sony there's a chance they might be bringing a white/silver colour range if there's a market demand for them.

Just because the actors in LA Noire were sitting down so their faces could be recorded hasn't restricted the game/team bondi from including the in-game characters to be in action sequences. People turn, duck, run, jump, drive, etc all with the face tech running. The game doesn't use a "place holder" face when you're doing those type of things.

The reason Uncharted *shouldn't* and won't use the face scan tech is because Uncharted is a completely different style of game to LA Noire.
LA Noire uses it so you study suspects' faces and determine if they're lying or not. Uncharted is an action game that doesn't rely on facial expressions to tell the gamer something important so therefore there's no reason to expect ND to use it.

I don't see how LA Noire would be effected - unless the game needs a patch straight away or something. The only thing we might not be able to access is the pre-order DLC for the time being.
I can go for either console version, but I'm going for PS3 as it's 1 happy disc.

Sony should buy Rare off MS. Least that way they could try out new IP's and I'm sure they'd sell. Once Nintendo sold Rare off to MS it was like the developer went downhill. To be honest I still don't know why Nintendo let them go. Personally I think Rare should've gone 3rd party.

Good to see someone else know about Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery. Just bought it and it definitely shows you what gaming on the iPad/iPhone can evolve to. Not everything on the app store is angry birds.
Dead Space, Shadow Guardian, Superbrothers, Need for Speed Shift, Splinter Cell, Final Fantasy, Back to the Future Ep1, Madden 11 are just a few names and well known games that show gaming on the iPad is growing past the casual angry birds.

As much as I love my GT5, least Forza's cars are all good cars and are "premium". GT5's roster is plagued by "WTF cars". No point in having over 1000 cars when who knows how many are actually good. And only 20% are fully rendered...
