Personally I think DLC is a bit of a rip-off in the sense that game companies know about it, they develop the main game alongside the DLC and offer it later. Or maybe even think of parts to leave out of the main game and later offer it as DLC. eg. Assassin's Creed 2 - you can buy the "missing" memory chapter 14 or whatever it was. I mean c'mon, why would the developer leave space for a "missing" chapter when chapter 15 is actually in the game? Did they all of a sud...

Their Mac business alone is worth $22bil a year! Just 1 part, or 1/3 of where their revenue comes from. When was the last time you heard of Sony's Playstation business making that amount of profit? I agree. While graphics aren't everything, resolution surely makes games look nicer. Case in point - PS2 re-releases on PS3. The re-mastered HD versions look so much better.
Hopefully Nintendo's next console has HD graphics...

Like alpha-male said, the Wii has it's share of shovelware but it also has great games that talented developers put the hardware to good use.
But I agree that Nintendo need to update their hardware. The Wii is pretty much running a beefed up GameCube processor and personally I think it looks sub-par for today.
The game will be great regardless. No game out there would stay at 60fps with a crapload of particle effects going on at once as Kaz said.

The delay doesn't mean the game will look better. It already looks fantastic! This delay is just pathetic! Surely the game is pretty much finished.

Honestly, nothing will beat Call of Duty in sales. It's such a huge franchise now, so wether you like it or not, it'll sell like crazy.
Halo Reach won't outsell it but it'll sell very well. Specially with the holiday coming.
Killzone 3 will sell a few million too, but nowhere near as much a COD or Halo.
Who cares in the end though. As long as you can play all of them.
Steve_0 has it spot on. Some people here think Sony is "too big" for Apple to take over. Think again. Apple are sitting pretty on $51bil of their own cash. That's insane no matter how you look at it. Their Mac sales alone are worth $22bil, which doesn't count in ipod, iphone, ipad, OSX revenue...
Last time I checked $280+billion is worth more than $30+billion.
