I said it from the get-go and still believe it was just a fad. Even Nintendo says the "3D boom" is waning. Most people agree that either it gives you a headache after a while, the glasses ache or they just don't like it. I guess it's nice if the option is there as it isn't being forced on you, but no way will it ever be a standard. I've tried both GT5 and KZ3, and while they looked cool, I couldn't handle playing them in 3D for long periods of time.
Yes MW3 has no memorable maps whatsoever. All previous COD titles had at least 1 awesome map everyone flocked to or wanted to replay a few times.
MW3 is just broken from the start. Hence why it's probably the only COD game I haven't played for more than a week...
Agreed. Like I said above, I'm hoping COD won only because of the single player, not its multiplayer.
Can't believe COD is the best shooter. I'm really hoping that these awards based it on Single Player, as no way is MW3 better than BF3 in the multiplayer department. I've got both games and while the single player campaign is better for MW3, the multiplayer goes to BF3 imo.

See I've got both and ultimately I chose BF3 over MW3 as it's fresh and unique. I've been a COD fan for a while now, but having played BF2 back on PC in 2005 I remembered how much I loved it.
I was looking forward to MW3 as well, but man, this new Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer really dropped the ball on MW3. The multiplayer feels old, stale and broken. I think I've played about 6 hours worth of MW3 multiplayer vs 40hrs of BF3 so far. My only hope is that Treyarch com...

If the game is still as boring and repetitive as it was back then, I won't be getting it. I got Halo way after I got the actual console, and when I did I asked myself why this game was what people were raving about.

I prefer BF3. I've got both and while I like COD, MW3 is not exactly fresh. It feels like I've been there done that. I'll continue playing Black Ops as at least that feels different.
BF3 is just awesome though. I'm an old BF2 player (no, not Bad Company) and it's a very different and unique type of multiplayer. If you're tossing up between either, my opinion is go with BF3.

Also, the article is retarded. LA Noire was on 3 discs because of the facial animation recordings, and not because of the map size. Talk about not knowing what you're talking about.
Personally I do predict a multi-disc scenario for the 360 version, but not anything over 3 discs.
