This is really tecmos fault. They are the money-grubbing sob's. They wanted to port Ninja Gaiden Sigma to X360 and a lot of other stuff just to make a quick buck. I am glad that Tomonobu Itigaki and most of Team Nina left tecmo.
I don't own a ps3 so I my question is when you install a game on your hard drive, let's say DMC4 and then you play another game with forced install, let's say GTA4 and then you want to go back and play DMC4 again, would you have to reinstall the game or would it remember that you did before? Then let's say you switch between 3 or more games what happens then?
This game is for hardcore gamers which already have HDD. Reittering that blu-ray causes the forced mandatory installs on the ps3.
Only reason for ps3 mandatory installs is because of blu-ray. Everyone knows that so stop kidding yourself.
The game is for the hardcore audience which ALREADY have the HDD.
With all the money they are making, maybe they could compete with the next box and next ps3, in terms of horsepower and graphics.
I am sorry. I always try to help everyone but when I read his comment, I nearly fell off the rocker. We all know that Jerry is very smart and a very capable person but that pic certainly does not serve him justice. Bubbles for you.
I agree with power of green on the fact that conda-whateva trolls waaaay too much.
On second note for the comment about sony sitting back and gonna drop price with slim model, who are you kidding, yourself? Are you that ignorant? Do you really think that they can make a slim model ps3 especially how huge it is now? How about that price drop. Yeah right. sony discontinued the other models and stripped the bc capabilities just to save money. They still lose money on every ps3 so wh...
Yeah most people will go out and buy the newest Dell thinking they have a gaming machine because it has a decent processor lacking the knowledge that you need to get a graphics card as well. MOST companies do not put decent video cards (gaming) in their machines if any. A lot of them run integrated cards.
BTW you should be able to score a 19" LCD monitor for about a hundred bucks.
I will agree with you that if I can, I will try to buy the X360 version. When you have a rig that you are proud of, you seem to really appreciate it. Here is a breakdown of my rig:
cpu - 130
MB - 70
case 94
32 - lights and neons and fans
gpu - 140
had the disc drives but they are only 30
media reader - 20
hdd - 50
psu - 90
wireless n pci card - 20
monitor - 179
Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse - 48
I think people forget that most modern graphic cards does have HDTV out and you can always get a DVI to HDMI adapter. I just recently bought a Radeon HD2600 Pro for a friend which is probably low-middle end graphics and it came with an adapter so I can DUAL display in 1080p. None of the consoles can DUAL DISPLAY in 1080p unless you count the ethereal phantom ps3 that was suppose to have dual HDMI, another sony lie. My current rig which I am proud of but is only middle of the line at best c...
If there is a X360 edition, (which I really don't care if it is or not as I think the game is waaayy overrated) they could add during the disc-swap times, "You do not need to wait 5+ minutes and eat up a chunk of your HDD because it is Xbox 360!"
Kudos to Bill Gates.
Well being one of the richest person in the world certanly ads to that. There is so much money being flowed through the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, it is just unreal. They could probably pay for a GOOD chunk of the US debt and still have change left over.
As for the comment on Microsoft holds the software realm, I do agree but with the boon of the NET, it is google that you should be FAR more worried as they make SO much money selling NONCONCRETE products and STORE everythin...
I like how people comment on how "superior" ps3 hardware is when they are still using DX9. Grow up and get your facts straight.
apoca$. . . should really be "sony defender". You draw rrod quicker than Billy the Kid. In all reality pc always win because sooner or later, there will be an emulator that can play them all. When the Xbox was the most powerful machine and games like Ninja Gaiden came out, it was a different story. The difference is that the gap in tech in the ps2 to Xbox was bigger than the tech between ps3 to X360. True the cell does give the ps3 edge in raw horsepower and the storage capabil...
I don't know if sony can cut the ps3 by much as they don't own the rsx by nvidia. I can see a repeat of what happened last gen with Xbox. They don't own bluetooth tech and a bunch of stuff. I can see the elite go for 350, premium 250 and arcade for 150-180. That would mean that two models would be cheaper than the Wii. That ought to boost up sales. I think the reason now is because they see the 400 model as not that much more than the premium and with blu-ray people see it as viable. No...
I agree with the above poster as more ram sounds logical. 2 GB is really now the industry recommended while 1 gb is now the industry standard. I believe the NextBox will have an Intel backed 64-bit 10 to 12 cores that go up to 4 ghz range.
Intel are stated that they won't miss out on the next gen and they can mass-produce unlike AMD which currently powers my desktop: X2 5600+. They are using new materials that cut down on heating and can pump more volume.
I would expect the N...
I can't believe how this article got approved in the first place. These sites just continue to go down the crapper. Such a shame. No longer about games but hubs for sony to sell their console. Someone should do something about this.
