Another note, let's say MS just pays SE what it would be expected to sell on ps3. Then it wouldn't matter because SE wins either way. I bet MS is just paying for development costs so it pretty much is a free game for SE. Any copies they sell would be PURE PROFIT regardless of region.

I am sure that if Gamecube and/or the Xbox had MASSIVE success of the ps2, it would still be supported to this day. Heck the Xbox version of Madden 08 OUTSOLD the Wii version. I don't think that another console will reach the magnitude the ps2 did. Now with all three companies puting up a good fight, it will be MUCH closer.

First ps3 uses DX9. That is LAST GEN. Next the cell isn't all that great. Not the ones in the ps3 anyway. They have newer versions but STILL ARE NOT TRUE MULTI-PROCESSOR. The cell has 1 PowerPC chip with 7 or 8 SPE's attached to it. So in essence there are 8-9 different things to work with. I don't think Dead Rising 2 will be multi-platform. Remember why Ubisoft stated that Splinter Cell Conviction was X360-Exclusive? The ps3 lacks the AI to have them port it to ps3 as I believe the same reason will be for Dead Rising. That is where the General Purpose Processing Power comes in. For floating point, ps3 has it hands down though.
