lol
The JRPG is already dead, Final Fantasy XIII was the final nail in the coffin. Although Cthulhu Saves The World may just have revived it. (Name win lol)
Hopefully this browser will be better than the PS3 one, the browser which the PS3 has isn't so good...
I honestly hope this game crashes and burns.
I still don't give a damn about motion control. Not buying it.
I'm not quite sure what to think... I just wish they would make a single player based armored core with the same style & controls of the original Armored Core and the PS2 versions. Although, this game does look pretty good. I will pick it up but I don't like the idea of there being no single player experience.
By this logic, the fact that smartphones and tablets have the ability to play music means that people would stop purchasing dedicated portable media players.
This hasn't happened, I see non-touch iPods and Zens (Other media players too) being used by people all the time. Just because tablets are capable of doing many different tasks doesn't mean that people are going to stop purchasing dedicated devices, either people simply prefer having a dedicated device or the dev...
32" SD CRT lol... I spend too much money on my PC rather than buying a decent display for my consoles. Meh I'm not really bothered about it though, the CRT does the job... if I want extreme graphics I just game on my PC.
Cloud gaming systems aren't next generation systems, doesn't next generation imply that something big and new will be added to the games because of hardware advancements?
Cloud gaming systems only add two new things: control lag and Subscription fees.
Yeah, but for me its more about the style of the game. I don't find these games which attempt to look realistic visually appealing at all. I love modern games such as Team Fortress 2 and Serious Sam HD. I just don't find the graphical style (or realistic weapons) of these games interesting at all, I simply prefer non-realistic based games.
Plus, I hate the idea of the DLC which these games involve, would rather just have the custom map editors and community maps which...
I personally am getting sick of modern combat, but sadly I appear to be in the minority.
We need more arena style FPS games such as the old Quake & Unreal Tournament games.
Microsoft were selling flawed hardware, there wasn't a boycott for them was there?
It won't happen.
If they continued with the route which they were going with with the CryEngine 2, I would agree with them. As soon as the have taken the jump to consoles, they no longer have a chance at beating the Unreal Engine.
CryEngine is dead, move on people...
You clearly don't know very much about hardware. The original Xbox uses an x86 chip. PS1 used a RISC chip, Genesis used a 68000 chip. GBA/DS/3DS use ARM chips. PS2 uses a custom CPU architecture developed by Sony. Console developers can use whatever they damn well please, PowerPC is simply the current most popular for home consoles.
Get YOUR facts straight, and learn how to spell.
No.
I'm never going to game on a device which has no option to have a button/controller scheme.
Anything which doesn't have buttons and instead has a touch screen I don't consider a gaming device. Or at least, they won't be able to support any games that I'm interested in.
Those who say it would be simple to emulate a 360 on the PC are just being silly.
Yes, the 360 is source compatible with the PC. That does not mean that the games will be able to run without emulation on a PC. It simply means that code can be compiled on either a 360 or PC with very little (or no) modification.
Since compiled code is stored as machine code, and machine code for different platforms is very different, you WOULD need an emulator on the PC to...
I really find it hard to believe that these people were fighting for "consumer rights". At first maybe it started off in a good way, but as soon as they thought it was a good idea to bring PSN down it changed. No matter how good they thing their intentions are, they are just around to screw gamers over it seems.
Edit: Damnit, beat me to the punch.
It's quite funny that I consider the new Bleach: Soul Resurrection game to be closer to the original DMC games than this one, at least the Bleach game has style...
You know you've failed when a supposed addition to the series it less like the previous games than some other random game.
