I don't know why companies still support 32bit on modern systems. The systems which are 32-bit only (Early Pentium 4 / Athlon XP era I think?) would not really be powerful enough to run modern software anyway..
Everything later than the Prescott P4s which I believe were the first Intel's to support 64bit and the AMD64 CPUs except from ultra mobile CPUs are all 64-bit capable.
Supporting the two (only slightly different) CPU architectures causes a lot ...
TF2, Battlefield 3, the DiRT series and other random games really.
I mean the 4870 even handles BF3 on highest (DX10 mode obviously since no DX11 support) pretty well. I do see a few frame rate drops but it is not really that bad.
It isn't unplayable, to be honest I'm not really planning on upgrading until I can't run games on the highest quality while keeping it at a playable frame rate.
I wouldn't say the 4870 does an excell...

It is getting a little outdated now, I wonder how well these GPUs will perform. I don't know if to upgrade soon or to wait for the next gen of GPUs.
To be honest with the games I play, the 4870 still maxes them, so perhaps I will skip this generation and wait for the next one. If it starts struggling too bad soon though I will have to upgrade.
It's pretty clear which direction Microsoft is going in with their recent updates. Constantly pushing Kinect games over standard style games, it's pretty inevitable really.
Well Apple products are usually designed with style in mind, people who think that their Macs/iPods are better than the alternatives just because Apple made them are a bit deluded.
They are never high spec compared to their competitors, just severely overpriced...
If the next Xbox uses Kinect as its main controller as rumoured... I won't be buying one, the way things are going you may as well just dance in front of your windows and call that a gaming session.
Let's hope they don't use a Bulldozer or they may just end up getting Bulldozed by the Wii U...
If "Social gaming" requires that I add 5 friends in the game to be able to build another waste holder in my farm, I am not interested.

If you can't back up saves on a mobile then its a fault of the mobile's software. Backing up files is a very simple task which should be handled by most Operating Systems. If it doesn't let you back up a save file then there is a fail of the platform itself.
Counter Strike doesn't need to be right for consoles, it's a PC game...
Why should we have to use a HDD on a console anyway? Consoles were meant to be "insert disk and play" devices. Nowdays we have to wait for them to install just like PC games... Might as-well just get a PC, since this defeats the point of a console...

This is a bit silly when you consider that gaming traffic requires less bandwidth than an average download... This company shouldn't be throttling in the first place, but it is kinda funny that they appear to be throttling something which is a small percentage of the overall bandwidth usage anyway.
This does seem like a good idea I suppose, but aside from the gimmick of holding your hand up and moving it to rotate the camera... does this really change the experience much? You could get the same result by using a joystick or mouse. If they want people to embrace motion gaming they need to somehow make it fun & useful for hardcore style games.

Whats more is that the graphics don't even look as good as DMC4 from what I can see. They can't use the "We had to lower the framerate to make the game playable because of the graphics quality" excuse. They must be shoddy programmers and/or aren't very good at optimizing the Unreal Engine 3 if they managed to make a game with these visuals which has to run at 30fps to avoid frame rate spikes...
Agreed, I quite like Bleach anyway so the Bleach game will be a good buy for me anyhow.
But honestly I don't see anything stylish about this new DMC game what so ever, I *may* still pick it up if the gameplay turns out to be good, but from what I've seen so far I don't think I will as DMC doesn't look very good.
This is the biggest waste of time I have ever seen. PC games will not work well on tablets at all, and we really don't want to see PC games start to get dumbed down so that they can be easily played on these systems...
